The Clinton Abortion Record
February 19th 2008 02:36
Bill Clinton was railing about how much he did to make abortion "safe, legal and rare" to make Hillary supporters believe he and his charming little wifey give a rats behind about the number of babies that are killed every year. By passing better adoption laws, he brought down the abortions from 1.4 million to 1.3 million. Wow, there's a problem solved, huh? He refused to ban partial birth abortions, pretending to give a damn about the "life of the mother." Did you know that not one single woman has ever been saved by killing her baby just before it was due to be born? That's just another disgusting lib/dem lie to make it more palatable for the sheeple who don't know how they feel about the wholesale slaughter of the pre-born. It's nothing but a comfy way to excuse the inexcusable and make his administration look a little better than it really was. Like he thinks anyone with a brain will expect Hillary to be any better than he was?
He went after some guy and got physical with him. The man was an Obama supporter. The Zipper actually hit the man in the mouth with his elbow as he pretended to shake hands with someone else. Let's see now, if Mike Huckabee bopped someone in the mouth for heckling him, wouldn't that make front page news? How about if Huckabee's wife punched someone? Wouldn't that be a big media event? Hannity and Colmes had the heckler on their show tonight and he explained that he was attacked and not the attacker, as he tried to get some "substance" from the multitude of Hillary's promises. Apparently he thought Obama meant the promises he made and that Hillary didn't. Like either one of them will keep any promises! Ha! Ha! The mainstream media has played down the Zipper and his attack because it wouldn't look so good for a black heckler to be hit by the "first black president" Bill (" the Zipper") Clinton. If a Republican had struck anyone, of any color, it would be huge news. Wouldn't it?
Back to the subject of abortion for just a second. The Zipper claims that he brought down the number of abortions significantly. Well, maybe he did... after all, the kind of sex he prefers doesn't lead to pregnancy...

Real Crash
What do you think now that the ultra-free enterprise gurus of the British Empire have now nationalized Northern Rock, with potentially $200 billion in debt thrown on the tax payer? Wouldn't it be better to put the whole financial bubble through a bankruptcy reorganization? More on my blog.

sure it's true that if Huckabee or McCain were caught slugging some free-thinker, it would be blown up and sensationalised more so than Bill may cop.
maybe this is because of the difference between the track record of recent presidents. 'The Zipper' publicly apologised for his mistakes and shortcomings whilst still in office. he also led the US through two productive terms, during which diplomatic relations with major and prospective allies were positive. the same cannot be said for his successor.
perhaps the media and public are so forgiving to Clinton because of feelings of nostalgia for times gone by?
as for abortion this is a problem that will be solved by the mass populous, not a single politician.

And the two "productive terms" he went on to do afterwards? What the hell are you talking about? He served two terms, yes. But productive? You mean with women, right? His productivity certainly didn't extend to accepting custody of bin Laden any of the times he was offered. It didn't include doing anything when we were attacked by terrorists repeatedly. And he has yet to apologize for paving the way for bin Laden to feel so confident that 9/11 happened. Not that anyone in their right mind would care about his apology for that. Did he perhaps apologize to Randy Weaver for letting Janet Reno order the murder of his wife and son? Or did he apologize to the family members of all those killed in Waco at Janet Reno's order? I'm pretty sure he didn't...
As for President Bush apologizing... uh... what should he be apologizing for, exactly? Fighting back when we were attacked? Inheriting Clintons recession? Cutting taxes? Going to war against terrorists so they haven't been able to attack us again? Freeing how many million Iraqi's from the bloody grip of Sadam Hussein?
Aside from a few people who have as little memory (or understanding) of history as yourself, Anonymous, I think the only people really nostalgic for the Clinton regime are the Clintons.
