Reasons for Concern?
February 8th 2010 15:40
The Underwear Bomber made a point of saying he wasn't alone and that there were more terrorists on the way. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been blathering about Feb. 11th being an important target date for an attack. Either one should make a person pretty nervous.
Then we have Leon Pinetta and others in the political realm saying that another attack was all but guaranteed within the next three to six months. That should give us all a warm, fuzzy feeling.
An expert in nuclear technology was interviewed on FNC a few days ago and said that a nuclear device would have to be too big for an Iranian rocket to do any damage. That might sound comforting if there hadn't been so much mention of the potential damages that a "dirty bomb" could cause. A "dirty bomb" the size of a brief case...
Disruption of our satellites and electric grids wouldn't entail a nuclear device, just some very talented hackers. Our computer driven society would be lost if the plug was pulled.
After the remarkable "success" of the 9/11 attack, there hasn't been another of that magnitude. Does that mean they forgot how clever they could be? Or that the mass murderers have suddenly become incompetent? Or could the Underwear Bomber and the Shoe Bomber simply be decoys to convince us that the next big attack will come the same way as 9/11? We have (either through improved security measures or dumb luck) avoided mass casualties... so far.
Does the Panderer-in-Chief really believe that making nice with terrorists will hold them back? Could even he be that stupid?
I don't have any special knowledge or a crystal ball, folks. But the possibilities are there for another attack and I really don't think it will be the type we expect. Surprise is their best hope for success. It worked so well before...

I'll bet he has a safe place to go, just in case and that he won't do without anything. He'll probably even have his teleprompter and cameras in the secret shelter.
