UN (Useless Nutcases)
May 16th 2008 13:40
After Kofi Anan and his crooked policies departed, I was hoping that Ban Ki Moon might do a better job. Fat chance... The UN is still basically an ineffective debating society, capable of words without action, and little else. The following link concerns a new plea for UN intervention that will probably fall on deaf ears, much like Darfur and other crisis areas they have avoided. Somebody, please remind me why we contribute to the UN?

i dont think it should be up to individual nations like the USA or Australia to be forced to appear as "invading" another nation, that is the place of the UN, a body which is supposed to be a consensus of all the contributing nations of the world, an unbiased authority . . . all funds should be given to the UN and the UN should have complete access to any nation

The free countries need to get together and create something to replace the UN. Can you imagine the UN putting the worst Human Rights abusers in charge of Human Rights? They did.

It has no real power to do anything, just words, that most of the time give aid and comfort to the corrupt.
It's a shame that the US. would host such a corrupt institute on its soil.
The UN might have been a noble idea, but it has been a colossal failure whos time has come and long since gone. It's time to turn out the lights the party is over.
