I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Growing a Garden of Toadstools

February 16th 2009 15:26
Welcome to the former USA, folks. What was once a beautiful country filled with faith, hope and charity is rapidly becoming just a garden of poisonous toadstools. They look like mushrooms until you eat one and then the truth comes out (during the autopsy).

The seeds were planted a long time ago, when FDR extended the Depression with all his "programs" and introduced liberalism to the population. The seeds were fertilized with the sex and drug craze of the 1960's. A little extra fertilizer was added with "free love" and growing rate of illegitimacy, then the institution of abortion as a "right."

The false sunshine of welfare and other entitlements germinated the seeds of the toadstool crop. Removing personal and public responsibility added water to make the crop grow.

The garden of death was carefully weeded of the rose bushes and food plants by tearing out God and all mention of him in the public forum.

Social and financial engineering came along to slowly kill the seeds of enterprise and make the crop easier to manage.

Insecticide in the form of free speech is now being used to insure the safety of the toadstools, making sure that only the liberal insects are allowed to chirp and buzz (and bite and sting).

Now we have the farmers, coming to admire their crops. B.O. (B.S.), Pelosi, Reid and the gang are proud of what they have accomplished. They examine the toadstools and find there are still a few annoying plants trying to rise above the tops of their growth. In the dark of night, they return to the garden and begin to stomp out everything that isn't poisonous with heavy boots (boots called the Stimulus Package).

Welcome to the former USA, folks. Soon to become the deadly fungus capitol of the world.
