Pastoral Problems?

The everlasting replays of Pastor Wright are quite surprising, aren't they? So are Barak Obamas everlasting explanations and apologies. At least he isn't pointing his finger and denying that he knows "Rev." Wright (that would be a little too Clintonesque for him!) But he is using a page from the Clinton playbook... Hillary's... According to Hillary, when you're caught in a lie, plead ignorance or amnesia.
He has been going to Wrights church for 20 years, folks. But somehow he didn't know that Wright was a racist? He had no idea that Wright frequently curses America? He wasn't aware that Wright (under the auspices of his "church") gave achievement awards to Minister Farakhan? He somehow managed to miss the charming speech that Wright gave immediately after September 11, 2001, as he ranted from the pulpit and praised the terrorists for giving us what we deserved? He claims that Wright is his personal friend and spiritual advisor while denying that he knows anything about his politics (which are preached full-blast from the pulpit every Sunday!) No one ever thought to give him copies of the sermons he "missed" and he never thought to ask? Bull dookey!
I don't know about you, folks, but I pay attention in church and know where my pastor stands on everything. If there were things we disagreed about (as Obama claims to disagree with Wright), I would have long since found another church to attend. If my pastor started sounding like an insurgent Imam, the entire congregation would walk out!
Remember awhile back when Hillary hinted that she had "something on" Obama? Could this be it? Or was it his crooked real estate dealings with Rezko? Or is there something else, lurking in the background, just waiting to pounce...?
Speaking of Billary, she's still trying to use John Kerry's tactics. (He went to Viet Nam, you know.) She's claiming to have been instrumental in developing the SCHIP legislation. Even Ted Kennedy denies that she had anything to do with it. Her efforts to make herself look better, smarter and more important than she is are failing badly (with people who pay attention, that is).
Is it possible that they'll both finally be seen in the light of reality? Can the rose-colored haze be dissipating during this lengthy election process? We can only hope... and pray...
