I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Another Bright Idea from the Democrats

November 23rd 2008 16:11
Chuck Schumer has spoken up on his newest plan to "save" the country. He wants to double the original bailout with taxpayer money to "invest" in the future. What future, Chuck? You mean the "future" you want to throw away on more freebies than usual?

Typically, the illiterate Democrats can't tell the difference between "free" and "TAXPAYER" when it comes to money. They have no compunction when it comes to costing us trillions with no actual benefits besides a bigger shovel to dig us into a deeper hole! Maybe we should come up with a new program just for Democrats and force them to attend. Economics 101, taught by any fifth grader you like. Someone needs to make these B.O. nuts understand that sinking the country into a thousand feet of quicksand isn't going to save it! Especially with an anchor around its collective neck!

Hey S.L. I like to know what they are teaching in college these days, or better yet what they taught these bunch of morons that is taking control of this country.

Lets see we are in a financial crisis, we are losing jobs which cuts down on money that comes in, but we are going to spend Billions more that we don't have to fix our problems.

Do you know what would happen to our family budgets if we tried that, Oh wait that's what got us here with the help of ACORN, and the democrats. It didn't work then and it won't work now.

Chuck Schumer is not the worse dud in the Senate. Obviously, a huge reconstruction, jobs program is needed. The problem is to get these dudes to say-- F$$%^###k the British Empire! (And SL, we want you to say it too.)

The financial (sidebets) derivatives need to be cancelled. The offshore centers must be shut down. There is no "mother-lode" of money to be saved or protected. The only solution is to go back to production and protecting the jobs, health care, etc of Americans and other major nations. New Bretton Woods now!

The best solution, Howard, is to stop all these insane bailouts. It won't be easy, but the economy will right itself in a matter of a few months instead of dropping us deeper into debt and collective despair. FDR made the Depression last longer with all his programs that were the equivalent of bailouts. What brought us out of the Depression was World War 2 not the busy-work projects and freebies. That just made people weak and dependent, World War 2 gave them a purpose again and got the economic engines running.

Right now we have the War on Terror to fight and drilling for oil to spur the economy. It doesn't look like B.O. is going to take any steps to repair the economy wisely. Just more bailouts and freebies at the expense of the future generations. He claims to be "investing" in the future, but the only investment he's really planning is an investment in bigger government and a welfare state.
