I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Giddy Liberals

December 8th 2006 11:19
The news has broken, folks. What an astonishing event we are about to witness! Hillary Clinton (D-NY) is planning a run for the White House in '08! The liberals are all atwitter over her decision, I'm sure. Boy, am I surprised? NOT. She's grooming herself to be the next president just as everyone expected her to. The only little hitch is named Barak Hussein Obama (D-Il) who is also taking the first steps toward a sprint for the Oval Office. Do I smell a political combo in the making? Several others are dipping their toes in the water, but they must realize their chances are slim to none in the face of the "smartest woman in the world" and a "moderate and sensible" black gentleman who has a wide following. Has anybody noticed that the sensibly moderate candidate from Illinois has a voting record even more liberal than Hillary? Probably not. He's a polite, bright and personable man who appears to ingratiate himself in every interview. He'd make an acceptable vice presidential nominee for the Democrat ticket. Hillary would hardly accept the back seat and second-best position of Vice President. John Kerry (D-Ma) is putting off his announcement until spring (or later) due to his former backers shying away from him. He apparently removed his foot from his mouth long enough to ask for support and was not met with much enthusiasm. Can't imagine why... At least Hillary can "tell a joke", after all she is married to one of the dirtiest jokes in politics!

I watched Dennis Milller on Leno the other night. He said that in Hillary's book there is a chapter devoted to Bill's, shall we say, indescretions. She states that she knew nothing of them until the famous "I never had sex with that woman" routine. Dennis said if that's the first she knew of it, "she's too dumb to be my president". I think he hit the nail on the head.

Hi Youranter!! She not only didn't know what was going on (right...) but she didn't dump the bum when she found out. (And the Women's Libbers still love her, go figure!) She's even too dumb to be a Senator... maybe that's why she picked NY!

Dennis was brilliant the other day. I wish I had taped it. It would have made a rant all on it's own. The thing is, he did it all by turning the libs words on themselves. The man is a genius.
As for Hillary, good luck. Maybe Pelosi can be her VP.

Wish I'd seen it, Youranter! He's one seriously funny guy. Do they do reruns of his show?

Yes. they seem to run about three days late. I'm taping it now every night to see if I can get it back. If not, maybe their website has it on.

it's going to be a Hillary/ Obama Ticket vs. a Condi/ McCain ticket. Condi will be the last one in the race and she wil still win. There's a reason that while every secretary of State in recent history has travelled on a non-descript white plane, Condi had travelled on an Airforce One clone. There is a reason we knew her name as the National Security Advisor despite that we RARELY know the name of that individual...(I dont know who the current guy is. Do you?) In any case, Because those characters are all sooooo well vetted, look for the '08 election to be all about whose blackest. its the only way to keep from having to discuss the issues.

D.A. I can't argue with anything you said. Condi hasn't ever been elected to anything, and that's the only strike against her. On the other hand, Hillary has only been elected in NY so electability can't focus on that. Obama is making noises like he actually expects to be a viable candidate for the Presidency, but surely he doesn't believe it. Especially in light of his main opponent... No, I don't know who the latest Nat'l Sec. Advisor is. Both sides will have the black and the female running. Sadly, the libs tend to make all Rep. blacks look like Uncle Tom or Aunt Jemima. It should be interesting.

Gee, did you guys forget about that bastion of human rights, Jesse Jackson?

Hi Youranter! Jesse Jackson, Rev. Al Sharpton and Minister Farakhan haven't yet announced their candidacy. Boy, would that make an interesting field or what? I can see the liberal (verbal) bloodbaths now over who was blackest and most relevant! The late night comics would have a field day!
