Tomorrow's the Fourth
July 3rd 2009 14:00
Tomorrow is the Fourth of July, but I'm getting the fireworks show today! Thunder, lightening and a downpour of rain are scaring the daylights out of my dogs. It seems like God decided to start the celebrating a day early. Hope the livestock is in the barn...
My grand niece was supposed to come over and help me get the yard prettied up for the TEA party tomorrow... but right now it looks like we'll need boats and bridges, instead! I was hoping she would put up the fliers around town yesterday, but neither she nor my car were available, I guess. Maybe word of mouth will be enough to get it going...
If the weather doesn't improve, the turn-out may be really small. I guess we'll see. If the weather is better where you are, find a TEA party and show up! We can't drop the ball now and just let the government steamroll us into permanent poverty, folks! Speaking out and getting acquainted with others who are like minded is the first step. Find people who are interested in running for office, locally and support them. The 2010 elections are coming and if we don't have something better to offer than "hope and change" type slogans, nothing will change or improve.
Tomorrow is the most important patriotic holiday we have. Get out and celebrate our independence and freedom. Protect them! Honor those who have fought for our rights by standing up next to them tomorrow and speaking out as the original patriots did. They fought against taxation without representation and risked their lives to do so. You don't have to carry a gun, all you have to do us show up and speak out. What B.O.(B.S.) and his crowd are doing to us is absolutely the same taxation without representation that we didn't allow before.
You have a voice. Use it!
God Bless America
