I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Significant September

August 19th 2011 22:51
September is rapidly approaching. The tenth anniversary of 9/11 is already planned, much to the consternation of firefighters and other first responders who are being left out of the events. Not only should they be allowed to attend, but they should be honored for their service in our time of need.

Someone sent me some newly released 9/11 pictures and it made my blood boil all over again. And now they want to build a MOSQUE to "commemorate" this act of obscene treachery? Let's honor the muslims and ignore our heroes? Has this country completely taken leave of its senses?

Later in the month, September 17 to be exact, there has been a "day of rage" scheduled. Isn't that nice? The "ragers" plan to camp out on Wall St. to disrupt business, traffic and the lives of innocent citizens. According to their promotional websites, they have high hopes of breaking the stock market and causing as much financial damage as possible, for as long as possible.

Who is behind this "event"? None other than Bill Ayers and some union leaders (SEIU among others). As far as I have been able to gather, they say they want to be non-violent and it will be a "peaceful" protest. Considering the track record of this bunch, I'm having just a wee bit of trouble believing them. Other similar gatherings are planned for other cities and countries. Sounds like a touch of anarchy in the making to me.

Why, I wonder, did they set their timing for right after 9/11? Could it be that they want to capitalize on the emotional anniversary as an excuse for some degree of violence? Are they hoping to outrage patriots into starting a fight? Or will they start the hostilities and try to blame the TEA party? It's difficult for me to imagine anything that would be beneath them...

September is coming folks. Buckle up, it may be a rough ride.

S.L. the mood the country is in, I think they better think twice, the last election should have been a wake up call to the left.

I am not a man of violence, but I would recommend all law abiding citizens carry a base ball bats that day, and hit one out of the park if they feel they are in harms way.

It worked at the polling place for the black panthers, it should work for law abiding citizens as well.

I agree, Lester, that we should be watchful and armed, especially on Sept. 11th. The Black Panthers are, unfortunately, part of the criminal element that this administration seems to favor. I doubt that anyone else could get away with what they did.
