I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Spit Out Your Foot, Michelle

February 19th 2008 14:42
Michelle Obama has opened her mouth again, only to insert her foot (up to the kneecap!) Her remarks about never before having been proud of her country have caused quite a stir! So, what exactly did she mean?

It sounds to me like she's ashamed of our Civil Rights Movement. She's ashamed of the fact that both she and her husband attended Ivy League schools. She's ashamed that the USA has led the way in disaster relief all over the world. She's ashamed that we have a space program. She's ashamed that her husband was running for president (until the moment she made her brilliant speech.)

She should be ashamed, all right. Of herself, not of her country! Maybe she should change her name to Anonymous?
