Senatorial Dilemma
February 18th 2008 19:55
I was listening to Rush this morning, as usual. He said something I just had to blog about (also as usual!)
Does anybody remember the election where Senator Bob Dole was running for President? Does anybody remember the whoop and holler that went up from the dems/libs about how a Senator couldn't run for President? Does anybody remember Senator Dole resigning his position to continue his campaign?
Has anybody heard one tiny, little squeak about the Presidential races being run by SENATOR Clinton, SENATOR Obama or SENATOR McCain? Have any of them resigned from the SENATE to pursue their presidential ambitions? Of course not! It's only a bad idea when a Republican does it (as long as 2 dems are doing it too, it's acceptable). Can we say typically one-sided?

Angry Electorate
Certainly, neither HIllary nor Obama will resign. In fact, if Hillary doesn't get the presidency, she may wind up in the upper echelons of leadership in the Senate (or so I've heard).
