Moratoriums...?
October 31st 2007 03:01
I'm not home yet, just borrowing my daughters computer for a little while. But I couldn't let this slip past, unnoticed. I heard this evening that all death penalty cases have been put on hold due to the controversy of "cruel and unusual punishment."
I've been waiting twenty years to see the death sentence carried out on a monster. He raped and strangled three girls, the first was 21, the second was 18 and the third was 15 years and one week old at the time of her death. Now, he gets to continue to eat, breathe and live quite comfortably at the expense of the taxpayers (like you and me) while the victims are still dead.
Where was the "warm and fuzzy" court when the three girls were killed? Where was the law to stop "cruel ans unusual punishment" as he was committing senseless, brutal murders? Did they intervene and stop him from killing the three girls? Did they get a stay of execution? Did the All-frigging-mighty courts allow those girls to live an extra minute because what he did to them was "cruel or unusual?" Oh hell no! It's all about his rights (and the rights of other monsters) that they shouldn't be put to death by a painless lethal injection when their victims suffered terror, pain, anguish and deaths totally undeserved? I can't help but wonder how many of the idiots who want to "protect" killers have lost relatives to the same breed of slime..? Would they happily support a moratorium on the death penalty if their daughter (or sister, or wife or mother) died at the hands of the monster? If they would, then their loved one deserves no better for having such a lunatic in the family.
On the other side of the same ugly coin... when was the last "moratorium" on abortion? Pop quiz, folks... what year was it when abortions were outlawed for even one frigging hour to keep innocents from facing cruel and unusual punishment (for the crime of existing)? Answer? Never! The libs/dems want murderers to live and prosper (even in prison) while the killing of innocent babies is perfectly acceptable to them. How sick, twisted and disgusting is that??
Consider the average abortion for a moment. A completely innocent child is either scalded to death (salting out), ripped to pieces (dilation and curetment) or pulled out of the mother, feet first, the neck hyper-extended and scissors jammed into the skull to suck the brains out, Late term abortion). How much more sadistic and brutal can you get? Most of the victims of those who now enjoy a reprieve died from beating, stabbing, strangling or shooting. Is one series of brutal murders so much better than the other? Why aren't Planned Parenthood and "hitmen M.D.s" being treated the same as other monsters? Instead, the other monsters who senselessly murder innocents are now being treated to the same societal dispensation given to those who kill babies for a living.
And it actually surprises some poor, dumb boobs that we're going to hell in a handbasket.... go figure....

Round Politics
Sadly to many times the victims are forgotten by the court system, and they make the Murder out to be the Victim.
The Murder gets more civil rights than the victim, and the families of the victims are left without closure, or any feeling of justice.
