I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Harry & Memory Lapses

December 14th 2009 12:52
As with any typical Democrat, Harry Reid has a very selective memory (or his liberal education has some serious gaps... which is hard to imagine, since he actually lived through some of the history in question).

His ridiculous tirade about Republicans dragging their feet when it concerned slavery should have embarrassed both himself and every other Democrat who could hear him. Apparently it didn't, since no one has spoken out against his foolishness from his own side of the aisle.

Fortunately, Joseph C. Phillips has a good memory and the ability to speak out. I'll just add a few specifics that are well known (at least among those who have some knowledge of history).

Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves. He was the first Republican President. George Wallace was a hard core Democrat and segregationist. Martin Luther King Jr. didn't have to stand against Republicans for Civil Rights, it was Democrats.

Isn't it odd, how the Democrats fought against equality and justice when it came to race? Now, you'd think they were some sort of champions for justice (if you didn't know anything about history, that is!) Or if your idea of justice is gay rights and dead babies...

Reid's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He's less popular than dirt in Nevada from what I hear. He is exhibit #1 on the importance of term limits. If he wins next year, it's ONLY because of the overwhelming power of the incumbency in elections. I'm hoping the people of Nevada come out anyway to vote against him.

I lived in Nevada for many years, PopCon. I had no idea how much worse he would get! Most of my friends there voted for him automatically and were outraged if I suggested anyone else. Guess that's the way most of the bozo's keep getting elected. The sheeple don't seem to spend any time thinking before an election.

Let's face it the dems are masters of deception, that's how they keep the dump down voters coming back. If only people would do some research on their own for once, because they are not going to hear it from the liberal media.

Or they could chose to watch Fox News Channel for some real news, not the water down liberal garbage.

It seems like some folks prefer being wrong all the time to admitting they made a mistake and making it right, Lester. I know devoted Democrats who would rather keep the criminals in power than check the facts. Sad but true.
