Poor Nancy Reagan

I heard on the radio that former First Lady Nancy Reagan gave her thanks to B.O. (B.S.) for removing the restrictions on embryonic stem cell research. She obviously knows nothing about it and is falling for the lie that it has some merit (beyond more abortions, that is). Typical of the liberal tactics, embryonic stem cells are being touted as a possible cure for Alzheimer's and a wide variety of other ailments. Not that they actually give a rats behind about finding real cures, but it makes their abortion agenda seem almost pleasant when presented in the false light of "caring." It will probably take several years and millions of dead babies before the left-wing loons are forced to admit that they were wrong. Even then, their admission of error will be cleverly hidden in oily rhetoric (or they'll just drop the subject quietly and never mention it again.)
For those of you who aren't aware of the reality of stem cell research, I'll repeat what I've been saying for years. Embryonic stem cells kill a human being. Embryonic stem cells have only produced one effect from all the research that has been done. They cause malignant brain tumors in lab rats! That's it. Period! Using embryonic stem cells to cure anything is tantamount to primitive tribes who sacrificed their children in hopes of better crops!
Stem cells from umbilical cords (live, full term births) show great promise and some parents are storing their children's own stem cells in case of future need. Adult stem cells are curing diabetes and being used in other treatments with success. Research is ongoing all over the world in the private sector.
President Bush put a stop to killing embryos for their stem cells at government expense. Private funding was always available for this miserably failed "science." There's a reason why there isn't much research going on, you know. IT DOESN'T WORK! Most scientists (except the few dingbats that still believe in Glo-bull warming/cooling/climate change/whatever and continue to follow Algore down the road to destruction) tend to use real science and have discarded things that don't work. Science is trial and error, investigation, proof, natural laws and the use of a thought process that isn't stuck on a failed premise. Most scientists who are worth their salt will stop repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results (eventually.) Obviously, most liberals are not scientists.
