I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

When Words Stop Mattering

March 25th 2009 23:10
Ever since Bill (the Zipper) redefined "sex" and became confused over "what is is" we have been sinking into a mire of words that change meaning with the political or social breeze.

Illegal aliens are called "undocumented Americans" by some left wing-nuts. The drug war in Mexico is now being blamed on the US by the Homeland Security buffoon (Janet Napolitano) who didn't even know her own former state (AZ) was under siege. And now both she and B.O. (B.S.) have decided that we can't use the term "war on terror" anymore. We sure wouldn't want to offend any potential terrorists or give them a complex, would we? Maybe next we'll be told that the terrorist training camps are simply new trade schools and be forced to pay tuition. Acts of terrorism will now be called "man made disasters" to keep anyone from getting upset (except the victims, of course).

The fabulous "middle class tax cut" that amounted to $13 a week for a year and helped B.O. (B.S.) get elected will be canceled at the end of 2009 instead of being dropped to an exciting $8.00 as we were told earlier.

Every time B.O. (B.S.) speaks (compliments of his teleprompter expertise) about "investing" he really means increasing our taxes to pay for things we don't want or need and sink us further into debt.

I would suggest that someone should send Webster Dictionaries to all the Democrats on Capitol Hill, but then they'd expect us to pay for remedial reading classes for them. Obviously, they weren't able to read the porkulus bills before rubber stamping them and sticking it to us.

Why is it that when he speaks nobody really hears the words and reports them accurately? Except Fox and the conservative radio hosts... Did PMSNBC mention that his cap and trade trash was going to run electric prices through the roof? He told us that during the election and nobody seemed to care.

The terms "million, billion and trillion" have become as normal sounding as "ham and eggs" in light of the new budgets and bailouts. And since they are treated as "investments" it doesn't seem to ruffle any feathers in the Mainstream Media birdcage. "Millions of new jobs" was the clarion call that won the White House, remember that? Those new jobs will be paid by tax payers! They're government jobs, for crying out loud! Piddly little make-work jobs that only serve to make government bigger and insure more Democrat votes by the newly employed "community organizer" types.

Dictionaries would be lost on them... unless we could have them put up on teleprompters! Maybe, just maybe we'll be able to teach them a new word in 2010. Unemployment.

S.L. if you use a term long enough or heard it said long enough it will begin to sound normal. they got us used to the word millions, and then billions, and now the new catch phrase is trillions. All these words rhyme, but are dangerous in the wrong hands, or mouth.

That's a fact, Lester! Especially in Washington DC.

On another note, there are a couple of posts on Fringe Faith that you might find interesting.
