I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Thanks S.L. for the link I like Randy, and am going to subscribe to his blog.

SL and Lester, I guess the people who have no intellectual interest or curiosity have won. You likely feel good about not allowing challenge from those who can express themselves without silly stuff about calling your political opponents “Socialist” or “Communists”. In any event I posted the following comment on Randy’s post:

I must admit that I am disappointed that you were once – but no longer - willing, anxious and even complimentary to me personally for sincerely inviting your participation in my site. I am not ashamed to come from the left side of the political landscape and have been trying to encourage conservatives to join me in making the Blog more entertaining and meaningful.

So what happened?

I know; because you have told me that SLB had been trying to have you leave politicalcertainty. She was apparently successful in having you, like Lester and she, avoid trying to do other than preach to the choir.

I am disappointed that you are so unsure of your positions that you are hesitant to discuss issues without rancor and with persons who read and study.

Jim I am sorry you feel that way, I have told S.L. and anyone else that I like you, and respected you, sorry to see that it was not returned in kind, that being said. Randy must have felt he needed to have his own blog to express his own ideas.

Jim why don't you get Ruby to write for you, she is much more in line with you political beliefs. And you have the audacity to talk about us preaching to the choir when I would make and opposing comment on your blog, I was attacked vicious by jeff, ruby and the gang, yes reasonable debaters.

What ever problem you have with randy should be handled by you and Randy.

I can only speak for myself, Jim, but liberal rhetoric is so silly and boring it's not worth the trouble. You guys always say the same things and respond with hostility when others don't agree with you. Even liberal radio is a failure, because normal people get sick of hearing it, especially when they know it isn't true. That's why talk radio is so successful and Fox News Channel is beating all the others every day.

Lester is right, you should ask Ruby to write for you.

No, SL and Lester, inviting someone who agrees with me would serve no purpose whatsoever. It was my intention to share my Blog with articulate and courteous writers who were from various parts of the Right. I didn’t want someone who thought name calling”cute” (as Barack Hussein Obama or Bill the Zipper) or believed that sort of material was the equivalent of issues to be debated.

I had thought Randy was the person and still feel he can be appropriate in the role. I never tried to censor him nor would I stop any appropriately framed arguments because of their political view.

Do either of you find that wrong? Naďve, perhaps, but wrong?

More than a little naieve, Jim. Those of us who don't enjoy being bashed wouldn't last long on your blog, anyway. Yo have some friends who are downright nasty to anyone who is from my side of the "aisle". Besides, it would be really difficult for a person to talk sense to someone who believe that using a middle name is is "name calling." (It's odd, though, that you don't seem to object when I refer to John SIDNEY McCain...)
