I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Perry is Looking Better

August 21st 2011 12:46
According to the Washington Post, Really Long Link , Rick Perry knows how to call a hoax a hoax. I like that. If Jon Huntsman really believes in man-made glo-bull warming/cooling/ climate change/ whatever, he needs to go to work for Algore and stop running for the presidency.

Honestly, does anyone with a functioning brain really believe that mankind can change the climate? Or maybe President Bush slipped onboard a rocket, went to the sun and personally ordered it to start making more solar flares. Maybe that's what happened, huh? We are no more responsible for causing the "warming", "cooling" or "climate change" on planet Earth that we caused the one on planet Mars. And THAT IS a scientific fact. Not junk science.

Isn't it comical how liberals are about science, folks? They'll scream "science" like crazy when it comes to Darwinism, ignore the scientific evidence that human beings are human beings from conception and pretend that "consensus" is scientific while evidence is not. You'd think they'd be dizzy from all the twisting and turning to make their "philosophy" work... maybe they are.

Concerning Rick Perry... he made a huge mistake when he ordered pre-teen girls to take those shots. Maybe that one episode of following liberal "science" cured him. I don't know whether he'll get my vote. I'll need to know his track record and positions on all the issues before making up my mind. Like any serious voter (no, I don't include B.O. (B.S.) voters in that group, or most democrats), I want to know as much as possible about a candidate or an issue before spending my one vote to support it. 2012 is coming!

I'm REALLY concerned about Perry's positions on illegal immigration and his past acts of cronyism (old boys network stuff and favor-trading). I'll definitely consider him, but we need a candidate with a solid position on immigration. None are perfect, but Perry's is very scary.

I do like his slapdown of global warming, though.

He does have some negatives, PopCon. Like I said, track record and positions matter. I'd love to see Michelle Bachman and Herman Cain in office. But whoever gets the nomination had better be the best we can get and not another loser the media picks for us. We don't need another liberal-lite like McCain. We also don't want someone who is into cronyism. I'd like to see someone say they'll build the fence, cut off all aid to illegals, drill our own oil and boot out anyone who comes here to change us instead of becoming Americans and supporting the Constitution. More importantly, someone who will actually do it.

I have not been able to follow the republican pack that's running for president to closely yet, to many personal things going on.

Is there one that supports drilling for oil off shore, and any where else so we can cut our dependency on foreign oil. I want someone that is willing to do what it takes to up the domestic oil production.

I want a candidate that will secure our borders, and deport illegals that are here now. I know it would cost lots of money, but doesn't it cost more money supporting them now.

I want someone that is proud to be an American and not bow, and make apologizes for America being the best Nation in the world.

I want someone that is focused on creating jobs, not selling our country to the Chinese.

I want someone that will stand up the the special interest groups, and do what is right for once.

There are few more things I would like in a president but these are a good start. Are they any in the pack with these views.

So far, Lester, Bachman, Cain and Santorum seem like the best of the bunch. Perry has been a little too soft on illegals. You and I want the same things in our candidate and we can only hope and pray that the dems and the media don't stick us with another loser.
