Otzi Speaks to Al Gore

"Otzi" is the name of a dead man found in the Otzal Alps back in the early nineties. He died around 5000 years ago and was mummified by time and the cold conditions. His clothing, weapons and food were found with him and told they story of a wandering man. His world was a lot different from the world we live in today, needless to say.
I'm going to play John Edwards for a moment and "channel" Otzi so that he can deliver a "timely" message to Algore. We'll just have to pretend that Otzi could speak English...
"In my time, there were fear mongers who predicted the end of the world. It happened a lot when there was an eclipse of the sun. After awhile, many villagers got tired of hearing the predictions and then the excuses when the predictions failed to come true. Some of them were chased away from their homes, some of them were stoned to death, and some of them were treated like the fools they were.
"I lived during the Ice Age, Mr. Gore. In case you haven't noticed, mankind survived it. When the Ice Age ended and the "global warming" happened, mankind survived that as well. You are a very distant descendant of those fear mongers of my time. Since you haven't been exiled (yet) and you haven't been stoned (yet), maybe the people are treating you like the fool that you are and you simply haven't noticed (yet)."
