Carter's Comments
May 21st 2007 16:03
Jimmy Carter has opened his mouth to change feet again. Big surprise, huh? He said in an interview in Arkansas that the Bush Administration was the "worst in history." O.K., so he's trying to unload that less than desirable appellation and give it to Bush. Very clever. I remember the Carter years. His "wimp factor" was impressive, the "misery index" was more important to check daily than the stock market reports, gas lines were endless, and his approval ratings were much lower than Bush's. I guess "Habitat for Humanity" wasn't a good enough legacy for him. His Nobel Peace Prize was a joke (and he must know it!) so he's trying to tear down this president in a feeble effort to make himself look like less of a looser. But, like any true liberal, he can't stand up for even his own foolish words. Now he's trying to get out of the "worst president in history" remark by saying his statement was "misunderstood." Right... a direct quote was misunderstood. In spite of his weasling and explaining, he's still the "worst president in history" with Bubba Clinton close behind.

a little like the pot calling the kettle black isn't it?
Jimmy was what I called the "sleeping" President....because he slept through most of his Administration!
Although I don't much agree with President Bush, I have to admit that Jimmy really doesn't have a leg to stand on calling Bush's Administration names lol
Great post!
Take care,
Nick
