I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Carter's Comments

May 21st 2007 16:03
Jimmy Carter has opened his mouth to change feet again. Big surprise, huh? He said in an interview in Arkansas that the Bush Administration was the "worst in history." O.K., so he's trying to unload that less than desirable appellation and give it to Bush. Very clever. I remember the Carter years. His "wimp factor" was impressive, the "misery index" was more important to check daily than the stock market reports, gas lines were endless, and his approval ratings were much lower than Bush's. I guess "Habitat for Humanity" wasn't a good enough legacy for him. His Nobel Peace Prize was a joke (and he must know it!) so he's trying to tear down this president in a feeble effort to make himself look like less of a looser. But, like any true liberal, he can't stand up for even his own foolish words. Now he's trying to get out of the "worst president in history" remark by saying his statement was "misunderstood." Right... a direct quote was misunderstood. In spite of his weasling and explaining, he's still the "worst president in history" with Bubba Clinton close behind.

Jimmy should have completely retired when he could still gain a modicom of respectability. Too much to ask for, I guess. I'm working on an article called 'Media Scandal'. Watch for it. It might open some eyes. Unless a Dem is reading it of course, lol.

I'm anxious to read it, Youranter!! As for you, Bum, since you're "giving me the benefit of the doubt", and don't know about Jimmy Carter first hand, here's a little something for you to think about. Carter allowed our embassy staff to be kidnapped and wimped out (except for a pathetic and failed attempt to rescue them. The attempt cost American lives needlessly and accomplished nothing but to convince the terrorists that we were paper tigers.) The economy tanked. Compare that to today. We were attacked and fought back. Our economy is the best in history (if you look at the facts and not the liberal spin). Instead of listening to the biased media for your information, Bum, you might watch Fox News Channel or listen to Rush Limbaugh. You might even try reading accounts of history before they get rewritten.

SL,

a little like the pot calling the kettle black isn't it?

Jimmy was what I called the "sleeping" President....because he slept through most of his Administration!

Although I don't much agree with President Bush, I have to admit that Jimmy really doesn't have a leg to stand on calling Bush's Administration names lol

Great post!

Take care,

Nick
