Harry and Al

Harry Reid (D-Nv.) has stepped in it again. You'd think he'd know better by now, but good old Harry never seems to learn. He spoke recently and said that we had to "do something" about "global warming." Like what, Harry? Create new taxes? Legislate the environment? He seems stuck on the notion that we somehow caused the "global warming crisis." Maybe he's been listening to Al Gore too much. Or maybe to the "Weather Channel." Some bimbo on the Weather Channel said a few days ago that any meteorologist who didn't buy the story that "global warming" is human caused should be deprived of their certification. I was listening to the television this morning and heard from a nationally recognised weatherman that he doesn't know of one reputable meteorologist who buys the theory. Maybe there are some who do, but in the far left extreme who want to make their jobs "politically correct." Al Gore is all atwitter about getting some academy award nominations for his silly movie and Harry Reid wants to get on the bandwagon for a little glimmer of stardom for himself. Give up, Harry. You can't legislate or tax the planet. It isn't interested in how many votes you can get with a crock of crappola. The planet rotates on it's axis and warms and cools as the seasons require without your help. While you squall about the arctic ice melting, you forget how the Antacrtic ice is growing. Ever hear of el Nino? That's what causes the warmer winter on the east coast. Please, Harry, scrape up whatever dignity you have left and shut up already.
