Sunday View of Wednesday, Nov. 5th

I've been hearing a lot about race lately, especially as it concerns the campaign. It's no secret that more than 90% of the black population plans to vote for Obama, no matter what new scandals come out between now and then. It's also no secret that 100% of the super-libs will give him their votes. Nor is it a secret that ACORN will get away with registering dead people, pets and people who don't even exist, to vote for him. There will be many folks who are so busy wanting to be politically correct that they'll vote for him just to prove that they aren't prejudiced. Add to that the constant hammering from the media about how high his poll numbers are, and he has every reason to expect a big win.
So what if my nightmares don't come true and we wake up on Nov. 5th to President John McCain, instead? Did you think that Al Gore and John Kerry threw tantrums when George Bush won? You ain't seen nothin' yet!!
The media will be in a frenzy, accusing the Republicans of every crime they can think of from racism to voter fraud, desperately trying to understand how their "Messiah" could have lost. Recount after recount will be demanded. The UN will be asked to investigate charges of racism in the USA. There will be protests, riots, all hell will break loose in the inner cities. It will be compared to the Watts riots on TV! Michael (Moby) Moore will announce that he's making another "documentary" about racism in America (with the American people the villains, of course. And Obama the hero). Jesse Jackson, Minister Farakhan and Al Sharpton will be all over the airwaves yelling their heads off. Barack Hussein Obama will go on national TV, asking his supporters not to continue the violence (wink, wink). The Democrat led Congress will demand to know how it could have happened and vow to stop anything that McCain wants to do. His presidency will begin with a string of investigations that keep him busy and distract him from doing his job. Sarah Palin will be savaged by the media and her first grandchild will be born into a political whirlwind, bigger than Katerina. International organizations (the liberal ones) will spew their hatred of America and fan the flames. Muslims will complain that Obama lost because he was considered one of them. Michelle Obama will make speeches about how her pride in her country was temporary and how "mean" we really are. The ACLU will launch lawsuits against McCain, Palin, the Republican Party and every state that Obama didn't carry. And that's just the first week after the election, folks.
If (God forbid) Obama does win and John Sidney McCain loses, here's what you can expect. The Republicans will be disappointed and disgusted. McCain will graciously congratulate the winner. And our country will be doomed.
Think about it, folks. And have a very nice Sunday.

what do you think of the potential threats to Obamas life if he was to win?
some very racist people have been coming out of the woodwork at rallys and on the internet calling him an Arab and a N*gger and threatening violence if he succeeds
do you think an assassination attempt would be likely?

Morgan, I always figured his life would be in more jeopardy if Hillary was his Vice President! LOL If anyone is threatening Obama, I would think it's one of three things. First, someone on his side is trying to make him look threatened for sympathy purposes and to make the opposition look bad. Second, someone was either drunk, stoned, stupid or all the above (and will be promptly arrested). Third, if someone does mean him harm, seriously, they wouldn't be advertising it on the internet (since threatening a politician is a federal offense, unless the target is a Republican) but his security will be very, very tight.

I do not understand the defensiveness, I guess. How on Earth can someone defend the cries from a crowd of "Kill him!!" and "Off with his head!" I understand that you aren't defending these things, S.L. But, can someone explain to me why the McCain campaign or the RNC or SOMEONE in charge doesn't more directly attempt to squash this kind of garbage?
Instead, McCain spokespeople blame Obama and his supporters! As though Obama really yearns for an angry lynch mob to come after him. Regardless of how anyone feels about Obama and his campaign, the CHRISTIAN right should be outraged that these things are happening.
Also, I strongly take offense to the following statement:
How is it that you can imply that Obama would want his supporters to be violent? Seems so ridiculous that the right is whipped up in a frenzy over the wrath of Obama, when all of the violent threats are coming from their side!

Anyway, Barack Obama has done a wealth of things in his life to completely negate statements that he is not honorable or decent. I just don't get that. He spent his whole early career helping those in need, and he has shown on countless occasions that he is a decent and respectable person.
If Obama doesn't win, I do not feel that it will be because of racism. I think that it will be because of ignorance. I think that it will be because of fear. And, I think it will be because his opponent filled the heads of Americans with so many lies that they began to doubt themselves. Can John McCain and Sarah Palin win? Maybe, but it will be because they were the dishonorable ones. It will be because they got nasty. Their own closets are so full of skeletons there isn't any more room for their suits! But, while McCain throws the kitchen sink, Obama holds back on many of the things he could be saying. Interesting.

wasnt that just a rumour that Palin started?
wasnt Obama 8 years old when Bill Ayers committed his anti-war protesting crimes?
they were both members of a board that distributed educational grants because Ayers became a Professor at the University of Chicago later in life - the context of their "association" was limited to being members of the same charity

And Morgan, if Sarah Palin started the rumor, why was it common knowledge and being discussed long before she was McCain's VP candidate? Why did Obama's own people admit that they were friends? It's all documented. Even Joe Biden commented on it during the early days of the election process.

if troops removed from Iraq do you think terrorist would take over the USA? or do you mean terrorists would take over Iraq?
do you think there is some terrorist plot to insert one of their own into the presidency?

The Political Brief
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that if Iraq is left unprotected, Iran will invade immediately. Ahmadinejad said so.
Of course the terrorists want their own man in the White House! Silly question! Obama has shown more sympathy to the terrorists than he has to Israel. The terrorists have shown great interest in him, and not because he's a great American, Morgan. Minister Farakhan and Rev. Wright are two of the most anti-American critters around (next to certain members of Congress). They expect him to continue tearing down his country if we're dumb enough to elect him. Obama has yet to put his country first... over anything... even once... Would you want to vote for someone who hated Australia and never failed to prove it?
