Nancy Pelosi, One More Time

Nasty Pelosi, new Speaker of the House has done it again. Her choice of Alcee Hastings wasn't bad enough. Now she's picked Rep. Reyes to take over the Select Intellegence Comittee. He's been a member of the committee for a long time and she probably thought he was a safe selection. WRONG again, Nasty. When asked two simple questions by a reporter, Reyes couldn't answer either one. The questions weren't obscure or difficult, either. One question concerned al Qeda and the other Hezzbolla. He acted as though he had never heard of either. Boy, am I impressed with him! He's just what we need in charge of intellegence, huh? NOT. Nasty has chosen very poorly again, which isn't much of a surprise. The little surprise in all her antics is Jane Harmon. Ms. Harmon is a fellow Dem. and a woman, and naturally Nasty hates her. Ms. Harmon has seniority in the committee and would have been able to answer the questions very easily. Apparently the idea of being the first female Speaker of the House has overwhelmed Ms. Pelosi to the point of inability to think or function. This is her third large scale screw up, and she hasn't even taken office yet. The only good thing I can see coming is that she won't keep any of her ridiculous campaign promises and create even more trouble for the country. Fortunately that hope has a good chance of coming true. She's already back peddling when asked about several of her promises. It's nice to know that some things never really change, isn't it?
