Mother's Day 2010
May 9th 2010 17:30
Well, it's Mother's Day again. I hope all the Mom's, everywhere, are having a great day (those that didn't kill their babies, of course. Those that did have nothing to celebrate today.)
If anyone has noticed that I've been absent for a spell, there was a reason for it. It's springtime and there has been so much to do, between clearing and planting and keeping up with my livestock, I barely had time to paint the kitchen! But the news has kept me interested even when unable to comment. Since the painting is completed and there is nothing else pressing today, it's a good opportunity for me to have my say on current events.
First to the "new" Arizona law that actually makes illegal aliens illegal. Novel concept, isn't it? Let's be reasonable here, shall we? Will the liberals (not to mention the ACLU) rush to my defense the next time I have to "show my papers" to cash a check? Probably not... Maybe it's because I'm not an illegal alien, ya think? My papers consist of a driver's license. Wow! It's really a terrible burden to have to carry it everywhere! B.O. (B.S.) assumes that people don't take their ID along when they go to an ice cream shop. Guess that means they forget to take cash along to pay for the goodies, too? Most folks have their ID, credit cards and money together, especially when going someplace that requires driving and/or paying. Boy, are we unreasonable to expect people to do that, or what? Maybe he's just worried that criminals will be asked to show their ID, huh? Guess they don't have to show ID in DC when they run for office... Oh, that's right! He didn't have to...
Now, about the oil spill in the Gulf. It's a terrible tragedy for the families who lost loved ones in the explosion. It's a frightful mess for those who use the Gulf for their livelihoods, too. And it isn't doing BP a lot of good, either. But since when did we start blaming humans for natural occurrences? (Except for the phony Glo-bull Warming trash, that is). If an escaping methane bubble caused the disaster, maybe someone should sue Algore...? After all, he's collected a fortune by being the "spokesman" for Planet Earth. Maybe he should cough up a few million for not "controlling" the ocean floor... I'm still waiting to hear someone blame B.O. (B.S.) for the methane bubble the same way President Bush was blamed for Katrina. After all, if one human president can be held accountable for a hurricane, why shouldn't one who pretends to be the messiah be held liable for methane bubbles?
The Times Square bomber is another big news item. The brilliant Michael Bloomberg immediately assumed it was someone who didn't like the health care fiasco. Isn't that some sort of profiling? It must have been really hard for B.O. (B.S.) and his gang to have to admit the bomber was connected to al qieda! But never fear, the MSM apologists are ready to excuse any crime done by a Muslim terrorist! After all, the poor guy had his house repossessed and quit his job. Poor baby! Funny how he managed all those trips to Pakistan to learn how to kill Americans... some people would have spent all that airfare to pay their bills... but maybe it's all a matter or priorities...
Oh, and the Iceland volcano... I can't help but wonder if Algore is planning to "do something" about it? If he really wanted to "do something" that wouldn't bankrupt the human race, he could offer to throw himself into the volcano to appease the "earth gods" and make it stop... Isn't that what someone who really believed all his bilge would do?
Well, there's more. Like the canceling of the National Day of Prayer. And uninviting Franklin Graham to speak (guess the Pentagon has gone PC, too, shame on them!) because he once admitted that he doesn't want to convert to Islam (how dare he!). I'm getting really disgusted with the idea that the USA was founded to be a non-religious country. That's a load of garbage, as anyone who has read history should know. I don't watch that cartoon (South Park? Is that the one?) and can't imagine why anyone else would waste their time on it. But their delicate tiptoeing reference to muhammad and refusal to show his face (probably because the pervert was butt-ugly) was ridiculous. The subsequent death threats were no big surprise. So now they're planning to blaspheme Jesus to make amends? Christian bashing is getting to be the left's new favorite sport, like kissing islamic butts.
I'm going back outside, the horse corral and goat yard are cleaner than the politics these days. And they smell a whole lot better!
Happy Mother's Day!

Angry Electorate
Obama is still awful, though. And the Democrats are wretched. And the GOP isn't much better. That all hasn't changed.

Round Politics
I support the Arizona law, and think that the liberal media have spread nothing but out right lies about it. All the network media is not to be trusted except for Fox News.
I think this oil spill is Obama's Katrina, but he is being defended by the liberals with everything they can throw out to stop him being held responsible for a very slow response.
S.L. it's not racial profiling if it is white Christians being profiled. If this man hadn't quit his job, and took so many trips 13 I think he won't have lost his house. Like you said it was his priorities, to bad they where to kill Americans. Maybe the liberalS support his priorities.
I hope Al doesn't jump into that volcano, with all that hot air he carries it will blow up that part of the world.
S.L. this administration is determined to destroy Christianity, and America. History clearly proves this country was founded upon Christian belief. All anyone would have to do is read quotes from the founding Fathers. Rev. Graham will be instrumental in getting Obama out of office in 2012. (Can I get an Amen)
S.L. a pig pen would smell better, and be clean that all the politicians in D.C..

My Mother's Day was really nice. I'd gotten a VHS of Les Miserables (original London cast) from the kids and was able to watch it, at last! Spectacular music! Then it rained last night so my garden is happy. Yesterday was truly blessed for me.
