Barak Obama's Interesting Priorities
April 10th 2008 03:03
While giving an "important" speech concerning race, Barak Obama made a referrence to his grandmother (who loves him, sacrificed for him, and raised him) as a "typical white woman." I found that rather offensive. He tried to diminish his white grandmother, in spite of everything she has done for him all his life. He did this because she is white, as though that is something of lesser value. Is his white half less interesting and important than his black half? Or was that just another cheap political trick?
His "pastor" has made a point of hating America and being very vocal about it. He approves of the 9/11 attack and wants to blame his own country rather than the terrorist scum that crashed airplanes into buildings. He said we deserved it, just a few days after the terrible events happened. Barak Obama supported his "pastor" and Louis Farahkan, for many years. Right up until he was called on it and then he backed down (a little) and denied any knowledge of the remarks they made. He gave two "preachers" (of hate) a pass, but not the white grandmother who raised him. Sure makes him sound "color blind" doesn't it?
There was a woman, a delegate for him who had a sign in her front yard supporting his candidacy. When she tried to get a couple of neighbor kids our of a tree, so they wouldn't get hurt, she made the mistake of using the term monkeys. (Not in a racial sense, but trying to point out that the tree might be dangerous) The mother of the children called the police and the delegate was fined $75.00 for "upsetting and disturbing" the neighbor with her remarks. So the "honest, sincere and color blind" Mr. Obama had some of his "associates" call her and basically fire her from her position as a delegate. As I understand it, they asked her to resign for being "racially insensitive."
If someone else's interpretation of "Racial Insensitivity" is all that is required to cause a loss of position and a fine, why are Rev. Wright, Minister Farakhan and Barak Obama not being treated to the same "justice?" Their behavior has been "upsetting and disturbing" to a lot of people. They're about as "color blind" as Jesse Jackson!
