Maybe I Missed Something?
July 5th 2011 19:50
The Casey Anthony trial is over. I didn't watch every single minute of it, of course, having other things to occupy my time, but I surely must have missed something important.
Let's see... when did it become acceptable to remove a drowned child from the water, tape her face, wrap her in plastic bags and dump her in a swamp? I always thought that the tragedy of a drowning was followed by an investigation an autopsy and a funeral. Silly me! Having dealt with a missing child of my own, I never thought to have a tattoo about freedom to celebrate her disappearance. In fact, I made every effort to get the police to investigate and find her. But perhaps it's socially acceptable these days to lie about the "kidnapping" and keep police in the dark about everything possible. Lying to family members during more than a month of the child being missing must be something new, too. And don't stale pizzas always smell like a decomposing human body?
There was something very "Clintonesque" about Ms. Anthony's behavior during the proceedings. When the jury was out, she was laughing and enjoying herself, but when the jury was watching, she became silent. Sort of like Bill (the Zipper) Clinton did at Ron Brown's funeral, remember? In fact, the only real emotion I saw was her obvious relief at being acquitted.
So, let's figure this out, shall we? Using logic and reason... if Casey Anthony is not guilty of causing the death of little Kaylee, maybe it was suicide? Could that adorable little girl have studied up on chloroform on the internet? maybe she really drowned herself and left a suicide note, so her distraught mother would fake a murder... Could it be that this "mother" decided to avail herself of her "right to choose" a very "late term abortion"?
So there will be no justice for little Caylee. Not in this world, at least. God will have His chance to determine the guilty party and hand out suitable punishment, I know.
Rest in peace, Caylee.

Suffer the little children to come unto me, did surely NOT mean this. With you all the way, what fools some judges are.
