Obama. Plagiarist or Just Borrower?

Fox News Channel played two speeches this morning. One was from the man who originally used the phrases and the other was Barak Obama saying exactly the same words. Some of it was quoted from Martin Luther King Jr. "I Have a Dream" is probably one of the most famous speeches in American history and is often quoted. Both men used the same phrases from Dr. Kings speech. The first man followed the quotes with "Just words" and so did Obama. Did either of them plagiarize Dr. King? Did either of them give him the credit for writing those words? Did they have to (or is a famous speech allowed to be freely and frequently quoted?)
For a candidate who claims to have a new way of doing things and plans great changes (if elected), and seems to have an original approach to problem-solving to use another man's words is a little unsettling, don't you think? Quoting Dr. King or Abe Lincoln or anyone else (including the Bible) is nothing new in political speech-making. Somehow, though, taking words directly from another politician (who is still very much alive) doesn't seem very "original" does it?
