I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

I Think I've Mentioned This Before....

July 23rd 2008 23:26
Since the very first day of the current campaign, I've been saying that I fully expect the Democrat ticket in November to contain both Hillary and Obama. It makes no difference who has the lead role in the combination, either. Every now and then, someone else pops up with the same notion and I really get a kick out of it. So here is another one. Remember, Hillary has never released her delegates and the convention has yet to happen. Also, you might want to bear in mind that Barack Obama has dropped hints in the direction of possible running mates, only to be turned down. Do they know something we don't? Or has the whole group of possible Democrat VP candidates decided they want no part of him...? John Edwards was listed as a possibility, but his girlfriend and "love child" appear to have been discovered. While that would make him prime stuff for any Clinton campaign, maybe it wouldn't fit in too well with Obama and his "image." I didn't see Edwards misbehaving, to be sure, but his wife is sick and in good democrat fashion, I'm sure he'll come up with an excuse if he does have a shack up and an illegitimate child. Wonder what he'll say to Planned Parenthood about why he didn't call them first.......?

But I digress... just a bit. Hillary has delegates. Barack wants them. Now what?

Hey S.L. she still may get the VP job, but I read somewhere that she has got her domain name through 2012. I think she in her heart is hoping for a McCain win, so she can say I told you so.

But I am like you I look for her to be on the ticket.

Hillary probably considers it a win/win situation, Lester. If McCain wins, she can do everything in her senatorial power to mess his presidency up and then run again in 2012. If Obama makes her his VP she's convinced she'll wind up in the White House again. And if he doesn't, he'll be giving her some really big reward for her delegates. She doesn't seem to think she's actually lost anything.
