To the victors belong the spoils, they say... and the opportunity to rewrite history for their own benefit. Before anyone has a chance to rewrite the Sri Lankan civil war (any more than they already have) listen to what Damo has to say. He was able to hear much of it from friends and relatives who live there and knows the whole story. You may find some surprising and terrible information, but it's something we should all be aware of.
If our "leaders" don't learn from the past, they'll find themselves repeating it, and we'll all be reaping the dubious benefits. Take a good look at what real terrorists are like...

Hello Yulius Hermanto. You make a good point. Individuals seem to learn from their mistakes more easily than governments. Communism never has worked and never will, but our liberals still don't get, keep trying it and (of course) keep failing.
