Phone Call...
December 5th 2007 10:25
Last night I got a phone call from Dean Heller (R-NV) for his weekly forum. He's a Freshman Congressman and doing a pretty fair job. I like the forum idea! He calls people all over Nevada and lets them ask him questions, listen to other folks and their questions, and vote on the issues of the day. It was around 7:00 pm, NV time when he called me, so it was 10:00 pm in Washington D.C. He spoke about illegal immigration, among other things, and protecting our borders is an important issue with him.
As a new Congressman, he devotes a lot of time to learning what his constituants want and answering their questions. It's the first time I've heard of a politician doing something like this and applaud him for it!
It's good to know that someone in Washington D.C. remembers where he came from. Too bad Harry Reid has forgotten about Nevada and those who elected him. Maybe someone should remind Harry that it wasn't the DNC who put him in office, but Nevada voters.
Hear that, Harry?

Round Politics
I wish a every politician would remember that, seems like when they get to Washington they listen to other politicians instead of the ones that put them in office, and then try to justify their actions.
