I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Monochromatic, Indeed...

Did you hear the latest stupid remark from Chris Matthews? His ignorance can't be accidental, folks. He has to work hard to keep it up! If he thinks that only white folks are involved in the Tea Party movement, it's obvious that he's never wasted his time by paying attention. It doesn't take a rocket scientist (good thing, too, because he sure isn't one!) to look at the faces in a Tea Party crowd. Watching some of the FNC coverage of them wouldn't have been too complicated for a person with a brain, but it clearly it was beyond the abilities of Mr. Hardball. (Perhaps he should change the name to Hardhead?)

All right, the crowds are predominately white. But not exclusively! Are the Democrats so ignorant that they can't believe that "people of color" don't like being taxed to death? There were black faces, brown faces and olive faces in the crowds at the Tea Party events. The movement has support that crosses ethnic, religious, racial and party lines. Talk about "bi-partisan"! The Tea Parties are representative of America as a whole. It doesn't take a genius to understand that people who pay taxes or understand history, or have common sense don't like what the Democrats are doing to this country. An understanding of basic math is all you need in order to see that the healthcare debacle won't work. It will only limit medical care and cost a bundle. It doesn't require a degree in economics to understand that all the "stimulus packages" and "bail outs" don't work and have sunk us up to our eyeballs in the quicksand of debt. Catch phrases like "social justice" don't stand up to close examination, either, folks. Race baiting should be a thing of the past, but the liberals keep trying it.

"Progressives" are doing their best to drag us, kicking and screaming, back to the old European system of serfdom. Their idea of a perfect society seems to be run by elites, supported by "workers" and littered with a liberal sprinkling of grinding poverty to make themselves feel "compassionate." Keeping a select group in poverty is NOT compassionate. Setting them up to fail (Affirmative Action) is NOT creating "social justice". Taxing workers into the ground to support constant government failures (programs) won't improve living conditions for anyone.

Of course, the "soft racism" of the left can't admit that "people of color" have the brains to see through them. They have to keep them around as their version of "white man's burden" and prevent them from escaping the poverty into which the Democrats have relegated them. I guess it was fun for Harry Reid to praise B.O. (B.S.) for not speaking ebonics and having lighter than usual skin. He apologized immediately (like Biden with his "clean, articulate black man" remark) and was forgiven. Funny how that only works for Democrats, isn't it? They can get away with any racism they choose while a Republican pays dearly for a (real or imagined) slip of the tongue or an offhand comment that shouldn't offend anyone.

Hey S.L. this global warming has me snowed in today, if the temperatures warm any more we might make to 20 degrees, haven't seen 32 in two weeks.

Maybe we should call him hard, but empty head. How do these jokes called journalist ever get on TV? Anyone with a normal brain can tell they are willing ignorant.

Sad thing is many people actually take them serious, and believe and do everything they say. They even have repeat viewers. Kinda shows what kind of people watch them.

Very true, Lester. The blind leading the blind? Or just the ignorant leading the ignorant down the "garden path".

Glo-bull warming is finally giving us a day above zero. First time it's above 10 in weeks. We may get to 20 today. My livestock could use some hot air... maybe algore will drop by and give them a speech... Oh wait, doesn't it always get colder when he shows up? LOL
