I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Tucker, Friedman and the Climate

January 31st 2009 14:51
Rich Tucker has a good post today. He's pointing out what everyone with a brain already has noticed. Something I and others have mentioned repeatedly, in fact. The turkeys that howl and "gobble" constantly about Glo-bull warming, cooling, climate change, whatever, are such phonies and hypocrites that everyone should be able to see them for what they are, with their eyes closed. "Do as I say, not as I do," has been around a long time and still smells just as bad as when the skunks first said it.

I think we are headed for a ice age S.L. temps are well below normal here, but that could be just natural for our weather to go up and down it's been doing that ever since I can remember.

According to the geologic record, Lester, we are still in the last stages of the Ice Age. Temperatures fluctuating is nothing unusual. It a few more years, it may change again. We didn't cause it and we can't change it. But the liberal dipsos are determined to charge us for it and the politicians are dumb enough to go along for the ride.

I've stated my case on global warming many times. You can read my opinions. Man-made is too far-fetched because we can't control the weather, winds, barometers, etc. The Earth can self-regulate itself.

I agree with you 100%!!!

Thank you signals! If we can't stop earth quakes, volcanoes, tsunamis or the seasons, we can't cause them to change. How can anyone with a brain think otherwise? Being politically correct is really stupid!

With you guys on the hypocrisy thing, but:

Atmospheric CO2 accounts for between ten and thirty percent of the greenhouse effect, which warms the Earth by 33 degrees C. If we double the amount of CO2 from pre-industrial levels (which is probably the minimum impact, even if we take immediate action), what do you think will happen?

Honestly, noaIzumi, I think some greenie will come up with new numbers. There was no carbon measurement taken before just a few years ago. One volcano puts more carbon into the atmosphere that mankind has ever done. And all the crappola that Algore and his gang of loonies can invent. It's a fraud, not reality. It was invented to make Algore richer and more famous than he pretended to be to start with. If you buy into the insanity, you'll have to feel silly one day. If he believed one per cent of his own trash, he would act like it. He doesn't.

I don't read links that are sent in comments, noaIzumi. Nearly lost my computer to a worm sent by a nasty little creep. No offense. Do a post about it and I'll visit you to check it out. According to the geologic record and dendrochronology, carbon levels have been much higher in the distant past than they are today.

Fair enough, no offense taken. It's more for the readers than you, anyway.
