The Throne of Wisdom

Have you heard about the woman who spent two years sitting on her boyfriend's toilet? It's a funny situation, granted, and you wouldn't think this sort of thing has a lot to do with politics. But it does... at least in my opinion.
Think about this for a minute, folks. He apparently liked her enough to be her boyfriend, right? When she refused to leave his bathroom, he allowed her to stay there. He brought her food and drinks, he supported her completely (after all, she couldn't cash a check, go to the store or hold down a job while holding the toilet seat in place, could she?) She may have taken a sponge bath from time to time, but certainly no showers or proper baths (for 2 years!) For the boyfriend's sake, I hope he had another bathroom! Their "romance" must have been somewhat limited, due to her "position" as well.
So, here we have a guy who invites her into his home, spends 2 years catering to her every need, gives her complete support, and in return she eats and poops. Period. Oh she probably talked, too, at least enough to keep him from evicting her. At the end (pun intended) when she had to be forcibly removed after the toilet seat had become attached to her backside, he said he didn't know exactly how long she was sitting there and had "gotten used to her."
What does this have to do with politics? Think Robert Byrd, Ted Kennedy and the Clintons. They woo their voters (boyfriend) into staying permanently in office (on the toilet). They use taxpayer funds for their support (like he paid her bills). The lib/dem voters (boyfriend) don't even realize how long they've been in office (on the toilet). They produce nothing but higher taxes and pork barrel spending (you can guess the analogy here, I'm sure). And must be forcibly removed at the end (smarter people voting them out.)
Maybe this guy will get his brain working again and find a girlfriend who actually does something besides eat and poop, who knows? Hopefully she'll get the psychiatric help she needs and not spend the rest of her life on someone else's toilet. She probably doesn't know how to do anything else, though. Sort of like some career politicians...
