Natural Comparisons?
September 7th 2008 13:41
I was just listening to Fox News Channel. They had some guy trying to compare the experience of Sarah Palin to the "experience" of Hillary Clinton. They question popped up because Obama is getting desperate, now that Mrs. Palin is on the Republican ticket. So he drags up a failed candidate from a disastrous administration to bolster his appeal to women. The only women he (or Hillary) can hope to appeal to are the "feminists" who's main agenda is abortion right up to the due date.
It wouldn't surprise me a bit if Obama dumped Obiden and asked Hillary to join him. He's getting more desperate by the minute as he watches his phony "change" message challenged by someone who offers real change.
So let's compare the two, Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin, just for fun, shall we? Hillary has been "working" on womens rights for 30 years or so. Aside from supporting abortion, what has she actually accomplished? Nothing. She has a college degree. Wheeee, she worked for a law firm once. Wow. She married a man who wound up having illicit sex with a string of women (some unwilling to the point of rape and some in the Oval Office.) To prove her "womanhood" she gave birth to a healthy child, once. She has teas and small talk with a few foreign officials' wives and some liberal foreign students. She was put "in charge of socialized medicine" during her husbands administration. It was a dismal failure. Her election to the Senate from New York was nothing more than a sympathy vote for the way her husband behaved. She ran for president on the basis of her marriage and "womanhood" and lost. Boy, such impressive credentials! Her highest approval rating as a presidential candidate is somewhere around fifty per cent. As a US Senator, she shares the single digit approval of the rest of her group.
Sarah Palin, in contrast, has FIVE kids, a FAITHFUL HUSBAND, has been elected (successfully) as mayor and governor. She has a degree, too. Her approval rating in her state (Alaska) is in the upper 80's. And her inclusion on the Republican ticket gave them a huge boost in ratings.
If you want to talk about real world experiences, Hillary has virtually nothing to say, while Sarah Palin speaks volumes.
