I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Rush Did It!

March 5th 2008 14:00
Rush Limbaugh asked his listeners to vote for Hillary in order to keep the dems/libs at each others throats. The Democrat party could well implode if the struggle between the two front runners continues much longer. What a cryin' shame that would be!! lol

On Fox News Channel this morning, Hillary (of course) said that she doesn't believe that Rush has the influence to get enough voters to make a difference. She wants to believe it's her "charm" her "experience" or her "platform" that got the votes for her three wins yesterday. So Steve Doocy asked asked everyone who had crossed party lines to vote for Hilary because Rush suggested it. In a matter of minutes, his email was filling up. Hundreds and hundreds of viewers admitted to having done it. Maybe you think several hundred people didn't make a difference, right? Consider for a moment that not everyone who voted watches Fox News Channel. Consider how many people voted for her, but were so disgusted and ashamed at the act of voting for Hillary (as they would have been for Obama) they don't want to admit it. I suspect that a large number of the cross over voters wouldn't want their family and friends to know they'd done it.

On the flip side of the same coin, libs/dems are generally quite proud of the stunts they pull. They brag about "crossing over" to insure that their candidate gets a beatable opponent. Dirty tricks seem to be acceptable to them. In a previous election cycle, a Democrat operative with the flu, spit on the doorknobs at the Republican candidate's office, hoping to make as many people sick as possible. Some of them brag about the "cemetery vote" being essential to victories.

I realize there are questionable tactics used by both sides, just as there are bad people on both sides. The difference is that the bad people and questionable tactics are applauded by the Democrats and not by the Republicans. I guess it's a matter of whether the ends justify the means, isn't it?

Actually, Hillary won because of a mistake made by Obama...

Rush also told everyone not to vote for McCain, so is he converting republicans to democrats now?

Rush doesn't actually tell people what to do. He suggests and plenty of people follow the ideas. As for Obama making mistakes, he does LOTS of that. It isn't unusual for unqualified, inept people to make mistakes... like Hillary and Obama both.

I don't like these types of games at all and Rush should not be spurring them on. It's a low-rent ploy. They should get to choose their own rep and Republicans should, too. I don't like it when Dems meddle like that and I certainly don't like it when Republicans do it.

That being said, I'm glad that the Dems will continue to go at each other. It's good entertainment, if nothing else.

I agree completely, PopCon! Dirty tricks and silly games aren't the way to win... but it will provide some interesting entertainment.

They all lack substantive qualifications and experience. And maybe the public response to the tricks are the only unscripted part of this soap opera.

If you aren't impressed with their brilliance, maybe they can dazzle you with their bullshit.

Rush is a bloviating cow....his fun little stunt backfired for some of his idiotbots when they found out his suggestion made them unable to vote on other R candidates...go figure!

Well, Jeff, you certainly know a lot about bloviating and cows (or bull, at least). It worked and Hillary, now the "number two" (in more ways than one!) is trying to offer Obama her "number two" spot on the November ballot. Rush wanted to cause confusion in the dummycrat ranks, and it worked! They're eating each other alive and giving the voters a clear picture of what they're really like. Must be hard for you to have to take a good look at what you hope to see elected...
