I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Take That! Liberal Dingbats!!

I can't begin to tell you how fed up I am with the "party of no" garbage! To hear the Democrats tell it, their thousands of pages of confusion are the definitive plan for improving the "healthcare crisis" they invented. Of course, even they haven't read it, don't know what's in it, and don't much care what the cost is expected to be.

It's the same way they "fix" everything, folks. They create a problem, usually out of thin air, and come up with new ways to stick it to us in order to solve the "problem". The end result is another debacle that costs us a fortune, accomplishes nothing of value, and boosts their power.

Think I'm kidding? Pick any Democrat "solution"... any one at all. How about "fairness" in the workplace? Quotas and the Connecticut firefighters. "Equality in education"? Forced busing and passing grades for failing students. "Safety net" for poor people? Generations spending their lives on welfare. (Not to mention the illegitimacy rate, fatherless kids, high crime rates, rampant drug abuse...) "Women's rights"? The wholesale slaughter of millions of babies. "Diversity"? The removal of moral values while having anti-American trash jammed down our throats. "Glo-bull warming/cooling/climate change/whatever"? Cap and tax the rest of us while allowing the select few to over indulge in pollution. Surely you've got the idea by now.

Today's imaginary "crisis" is health care for everyone. They pretend it's a "Constitutional right" while admitting it isn't even mentioned in the Constitution (not that that little detail has ever stopped them before...)

Now we come to the "party of no" routine. Anyone who doesn't want to blindly approve of something they don't understand, can't afford and don't need is considered some sort of "nay sayer" who doesn't care about the "millions who will die" if the insanity is stopped. They even make believe that there is no other possible solution to the "crisis".

Common sense and a dose of reality are better solutions, folks. Lies and overwhelming debt aren't answers, they're the real problem.

Hey S.L. I don't much like judging people, but the dems have judge themselves haven't they? They are going to be weighed in the balance, and be found wanting.

They're full of... good intentions, Lester. And walking down the road that's paved with them. All we can do is watch.

That's just deflection. They know and we know and everyone knows that they have complete control and the numbers to pass anything. They're just trying to shift blame. They can't avoid blame for the messes they're creating now, though -- and everyone knows it.

But they sure keep trying to avoid responsibility, don't they, PopCon? Sometimes it seems like they almost believe it when they blame others. But nobody could really be that dense... could they?

We'll find out in November if people are that dense.

Overwhelming debt ... Is that sort of like using your Mastercard to pay your Visa? No wait, the MC and Visa are over the limit! That is okay, I still have some convienence checks; maybe no one will notice and I will just use those and catch up when I win the lottery or collect the next tax increase. The voters? Bread? Hah, let them eat cake! Which I think someone said just before the French Revolution.

Hi all ... Merry Christmas!!!

Hi rickb! Christmas will be here in a few days and I can't help but wonder how big the spending spree will get before then... What's going on these days doesn't make the New Year look all that great...

Merry Christmas, anyway!
