I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Well, They Did it to Us...

October 3rd 2008 18:07
If you're feeling a slight discomfort between your shoulder blades right now, it's just the latest Democrat knife, aided by some empty-headed Republicans. Their bailout bill passed and we get to pay for the priviledge of being skunked again.

The Democrats caused the problem, profitted from it, whined about it when it collapsed around them, and the idiots that "we the people" elected have kissed it and made it all better with OUR money. It would be ultimately cheaper for each one of us to flush half our income down the nearest toilet. But we can't because the Democrats will be taking that half from now on (as well as whatever they can steal from what's left). We elected these turkeys, folks. Maybe it's time to boot them out and bring in the sort of people who will represent OUR needs and interests instead of just kissing the butt of every jack ass they can find. I'm ashamed (for the first time) of President Bush for allowing and encouraging this travesty. I am ashamed of John McCain for approving of it and voting for it (not the first time I've been ashamed of him, of course and probably won't be the last). Every moron who voted for the bailout is beneath my contempt! We need to get rid of all these losers and elect some real Americans who care more about the American people than they do about looking good to other idiots.

If it weren't for Sarah Palin, I'd burn my ballot in protest and not vote for the criminal (Obama) or the jerk (McCain). My only reason for voting at all this time is the hope that she'll eventually be president and to vote against any of my own state Senators and Representatives who voted for this communistic bill.

You don't think it's communistic? Think about it for a minute, folks. They have just nationalized the banking and housing industries. And they added plenty of really expensive pork just for good (or bad!) measure. If we are stupid enough to allow these socialist buggers to stay in office, I guess we deserve whatever comes next, right Comrades?

S.L., I am in total agreement with you about this travesty.

Now is the time for all taxpayers, regardless of affiliation, to email or call Congress and Reps and let them know that this will not fly.

I vote we form a new lobby group: Americans Who Aren't Stupid.

Nonpartisan on this one. It offends us all.

Here's the email address.

Here's the phone number: (202) 224-3121. It connects you to the House switchboard. Ask for your state rep's or Congressperson's line.

Folks, we need to drop all party differences and raise hell about this.

Consider me onboard, D. Any representative or Senator from my state who went along with this needs to be fired immediately (or on Nov. 4th.) That means I can tell Harry Reid (again) what I think of him!

If we as Americans don't stand up against this, we can get the full view from beneath the communist steam roller they're aiming at us!

Hey Everyone, I sent a demand to my senator and Reps, demanding to know how they voted. Dean Heller (R-NV) voted against. I like him!!

And now they're saying that it probably won't be enough. I guess $850 billion was just a down payment.

We're being robbed.

We sure are, PopCon, and not at gun point... but at ballot point, which is even more demeaning. If the slimy s.o.b.s who caused this and profitted from it and won today get re-elected, we have effectively been robbed of our whole country. They should all move to Cuba or Communist China so they can enjoy the end results of their precious socialism. Every creeping, crawling one of them is a traitor and should be treated as such. They sold us out and the whole country (for generations) will be able to regret at our leisure. Damn them all.

Hey S.L. I am a ashamed to admit it, but my Congressman who matter of fact is a republican voted for this, and sold his birth right to the devil.

Those thieves are probably sitting some where tonight laughing because they got away with the crime of the century.

I agree we should ban together, and as Sarah said last night in the debate Never again. We must never again allow this to happen. I am sick of seeing the American people cheated, hoodwinked, bamboozled, and horns waggled.

It's beyond me, Lester, how anyone who can find the floor with both feet could possibly be stupid enough to allow this to happen. They never learn, do they? It seems that Sarah Palin is the only one out there with a brain and the ability to use it. We just gotta get her elected! Hopefully this time, but if Obama and the idiots wind up winning, she'll get in on a landslide after everyone has four years of communism, athiesm and other forms of insanity.

I would like to point out that the 850 billion figure is a little misleading. The government's not just giving it to the bankers or throwing it down a rat hole, we're buying assets with that money. Now, whether they'll be worth $850 billion when we sell them is anyone's guess (although it worked out that way last time, I hear), and of course the short-term cost is $850 billion. But at the end of this, the cost will be much less, and the government might even wind up turning a profit.

Not if the pork projects of the Democrats get theirs first, NoaIzumi. Some of it is already being dropped into the wrong coffers. It was still a mistake and we'll regret it while we're paying it and long afterwards. The money that the taxpayers are losing on the bailout will never get back into the hands of those from whom it was taken.
