I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

A Dealer's Tale

May 21st 2009 21:38
I heard a letter, sent by a Florida car dealer, being read on the radio. Now, I've never met the man, but his story has a ring of truth and tragedy that makes me really mad!

This man and his family have owned their dealership for thirty odd years. They employ people, they do lots of business with other local companies. They sponsor events and teams in their town and are a big part of the community.

They OWN the dealership. Bought and paid for, folks. Awhile back the auto company whose care he sells told him to upgrade the facilities, which he did to the tune of millions. He has a parts department, repair shop and a big inventory of new cars, just waiting for buyers.

He has now been told by the company that his business will be taken from him and given to someone else. The warranties will no longer be honored. He's on the hook for the millions in repairs that no longer matter. His employees and family will lose their incomes and their benefits. And his home town will suffer the loss of all the sponsorship and investments he has made. All because the company is being "restructured" via bankruptcy, bailouts and a brand new form of Eminent Domain.

This is just one of thousands of such cases that have arisen in the last couple of months as B.O. (B.S.) and his twisted crowd search for "economic justice" by stealing from people who accomplish things and giving it their cronies.

I heard a rumor that a group of car dealers either have filed or are going to file an injunction to prevent this theft. But considering who's in office, they may not have much of a chance. I can't help but wonder how many of the newly unemployed and bankrupt voted for B.O. (B.S.)... Well this might not be exactly the "hope and change" they expected, huh? I feel much sorrier for those who voted against him and are getting skinned, anyway. They knew better.

I have always been told S.L. be careful what you wish for it might just come true, I only wish that the B.O. voters would suffer, but the innocent are caught in this mess as well, and for that I am truly sorry.

So am I, Lester. We are being punished by a few rotten people and a bunch of uninformed voters. They get to make the mistakes and we get to cough up the cash.
