I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Another One Bites the Dust...

According to the ABC news flash I just recieved, Mitt Romney is backing out of his bid for the White House. Wasn't it just yesterday he swore to "go all the way?"

This leaves us with two viable candidates on each side. Billary and Obama have all the same goals for ruining the country and dumping us in the far left trash can. McCain has the same general ideas about how to subvert the Constitution and screw us over. Mike Huckabee is the only real conservative left in the race, and his social conservatism far outweighs his fiscal conservatism.

What's a voter to do? Unless McCain (who will probably win the nomination) has a really terrific Vice President on the ticket, and displays signs of failing health or mind, my vote will either go to Alan Keyes or not be cast. Why bother? If the choice is between two ultra-liberal hacks or a R.I.N.O. hack, what's the difference?

In my opinion the republicans doesn't have a chance this election year, and we will have to watch our country slip further under the slime of liberalism, until the American people wake up and realize that George Bush wasn't Satan after all.

Maybe McCain will do the right thing and ask Mitt to be his running mate. Half a conservative ticket is better than none, I just hope he doesn't ask John Kerry to be vice President.

Welcome back, Lester!

A McCain/Kerry ticket is what nightmares are made of! Maybe Gore would be even worse! But I'll bet he'll be facing a Clinton/Obama ticket, so it really won't matter much.. ugh...

Not my place to comment on the politics of another's homeland - nor pass judgement on the choices made by people of any democratically elected nation - but there appears some interesting choices to be made by you and your countrymen and women in the very near future.

Hello Mr. Nice Guy! Interesting is a good word for it. This election isn't going to be like any other. What we have is three liberals trying to out lib each other and one mostly conservative who is doing better than expected. McCain never met a liberal idea he didn't try to get in on (except running away from the War on Terror), Hillary voted for it before she voted against it, Obama seems to think if we just make nice with the Muslim terrorists everything will be fine. Huckabee, meanwhile is winning a few states and delegates.

Popular opinion is that it will be a Hillary/Obama ticket. Michael Bloomberg is beginning to creep up at the outside edge, though. And that could change everything ( not necessarily for the better, either!)

I have to agree with MNG, and the whole world is watching ... I say that if you have had actors as leaders, why not an indigenous soul or even a 'woman' for that matter ...(not my sentiment - just echoing the 'system')... both totally radical and either a positive change or the begining of the end, I agree... very interesting times indeed.

I haven't been following it closely enough to know who might be better under the circumstances, but from what little I have observed, I pray that it isn't Huckabee, to me he seems too one sided for anyone's good.

Hi Lilla! Huckabee is a little to the right of the political spectrum, which I prefer. McCain wants people to think he's a "centrist" which he is probably trying to be. Hillary and Obama and both far left, pretending to be "centrists", too.

The real problem most people are having with the choices before us have nothing to do with race or gender. It's the political positions of Obama and Hillary that make them unsuitable candidates for many of us. Neither of them would be good for the country.
