Seperation of Church and State, Obama Style
October 6th 2008 22:45
Here's a little goody to think about. There's such an uproar of pulling the tax free status of Christian churches should they dare to suggest from the pulpit that one political philosophy is closer to their religious tennants than the other, I thought you might like to see this. If my pastor states clearly from the pulpit that John McCain and Sarah Palin are much closer to Christian ways than Obama and Obiden, he can get in all sorts of trouble. Including being investigated by the IRS (bless their empty little, tiny, hearts). People like Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Nasty Pelosi, Joe Obiden etc, can violate everything their religion stands for and still call themselves Catholic. Obama's buddy, Father Flager or Rev. Wright for that matter, can scream from the pulpit about all the political and racial things they like and nobody gives a rats behind. But Christians (the real ones, who have some knowledge of the Bible) have to shut up or be accused of violating the "separation of church and state" garbage that isn't even in the Consitiution.
I guess Barack Hussein Obama doesn't think it matters, because after all the word "church" is spelled differently from the word "mosque." And they are quite different in practice, as well. Christian "churches" are pro-life and "mosques" are pro-death (for everyone not in attendance.)
If this doesn't tell you who Barack Hussein Obama is and who his biggest supporters are, by all means, have another glass of Kool Aid. You deserve it!

you got something against muslims? most of them I know don't have horns....they are pretty decent people....as for Obama being a muslim, this was debunked a long, long, long time ago...

Sadly, some can never let go of untruths. Although in many cases they are the very ones that tried to spread the untruths to begin with.
I actually have a post about to start in 15 minutes or so that I previously wrote and set the time to start. It seems like an extremely timely post suddenly.

You're the one who's way out in left field...you're the one not answering the question....It is guys like you and your twisted outlook who have gotten us into the mess we're in.
You still didn't answer the question....you got something against muslims?

first of all, not all terrorists are muslim. There are IRA dissidents who are still happily trying to blow stuff up. So lets be fair and say that all people from all religions can be jerks. Including christians.
Second of all, I don't recall Jesus ever treating anyone else from a different religion like an enemy. From what I could see, He treated everyone fairly well. Including Samaritans who were hated by the Jews like the Protestants used to be hated by the Catholics.
Saying that one person would be better simply because they are a christian can't be true. We HOPE they are better, in their moral quality and ability, but we can never assume this.

My whole point was that when a Christian church supported McCain, there was hell to pay. "Seperation of church and state!" was being yelled from the rooftops all over the world. But nobody is saying anything when Muslims make a point of supporting Barack Obama. Can't have one without the other, JoshZ. Either it's right or it's wrong. Period.

Don't forget our domestic terrorism, in Oklahoma City not long ago. No muslims there, just crazy gun fanatics.
Personally, my complaint with the Christian right (like Palin) is their tendency toward proselytism and their sense of entitlement. Your god is not my god, and that IS in the constitution.

David Koresh and his group were killed by order of Bill Clinton, via Janet Reno. They had plenty of opportunities to arrest Koresh away from the compound and waited until they could attack the whole place instead.
Randy Weaver and his family were under the "guns" of the Clinton administration, too. His wife and son were shot down by the FBI at the orders of Clinton and Reno. Weaver was found not guilty, by the way. His family died for nothing.
Oklahoma City was bombed by a nut case. You really can't use him as an example any more than you can use any other single crime to define a society.
Sarah Palin hasn't tried to force her religion on anyone, by the way.

your own words were "The terrorists today are exclusively Muslim. The good ones don't speak out against the bad ones, giving them tacit approval."
Which, as I happily pointed out for the first point is quite untrue. As for the second point, most of the muslims I know very happily say that the extremist fanatics are people they disagree with. The reason I don't say all is because I don't talk about it with all my muslim friends. My other question is, have you read the Koran? I will freely say I haven't, but the muslims I know and have spoken to about it say that the koran doesn't encourage it any more than the Bible does.
I think that the hate you've shown on your blog is fairly wrong. I remember there was a guy about two thousand years ago who said "If you hate someone then you have murdered him in your heart." I don't want to act as if I have never wanted to see someone come to harm, and I am not up preaching down, if you get what I mean. Another thing this guy said was "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God."

Good to see you're not letting up my good friend. I don't know if you've seen this story before. It's four years old, but given the recent CHANGE of ideological scenery lately, you and all your readers might find this of keen interest.
It's an interview with BO taken after he won his senate seat which he only served two thirds of (or did he?) ... anyway, it focuses on Obama's "religious views." After you read of his Kool Aid Christianity, you'll be reaching for the liquor cabinet. This guy's views are a bad, reallly bad mix of Osteenism and Oprahology. Wait a minute! STOP THE PRESSES: NEW TRINITY REVEALED
Obama, Oprah and Osteen
(Green of course!) Isn't that thed PC color of Gaia, their pagan Mary?)
Here's some serious contenders for the Anti-Christ. In the meantime, may the Real Trinity help us make through these next four years of trials and tribulations.
