I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

B.O. Doesn't Know

November 8th 2008 04:04
Among the multitude of things that B.O. doesn't know is which First Lady is which. We can add that to the really long list of things he doesn't know about. You people who elected him seem to just now understand that you don't know anything about him. All that charisma got in the way of reality, did it? Still proud of yourselves for voting him into office?

SL, may I please be allowed two comments. First as to the president-elect’s tasteless quip about Nancy Reagan and séances, Mrs. Reagan is said to have consulted astrologers in planning her husband’s schedule. Mary Todd Lincoln was the First Lady who regularly was a participant in séances.

But who cares? To extrapolate that this establishes Barack Obama’s ignorance, generally, seems to be a bit of a stretch.

You have suggested that, in your opinion, the president-elect is woefully ignorant, generally, and unworthy of the Office. I disagree, but, in truth, neither of us can be certain. One thing is undeniable, however; 65.3 million of our fellow Americans made the decision. The election results have invigorated the political landscape, both here and abroad, people are excited and Barack Obama will not be president for more than two months.

Why not give the man the opportunity to prove one of us wrong and the other justified in our respective opinions? After a decent interval, I may find myself bitterly disappointed. Over the past years, the behavior or degree of competence of our leaders or advisors of several presidents have done just that. President Clinton’s personal behavior was inexcusable, while I thought highly of his presidential acts, President Carter presented a mirror image, personal behavior wonderful and presidential performance poor. George Bush, Sr. did not disappoint me; his son did on all levels, and so forth.

Right or wrong, unless and until Barack Obama (not BO, not Barack Hussein Obama) does something vile and traitorous, is our president, yours, mine and of the rest of us. George Bush was and so is our new president-elect. He is due that respect.

O.K., Jim... we can't use his middle name without offending him, now I can't use his initials? Funny I don't recall JFK, FDR, LBJ or "W" compaining about the use of their initials. But the "Messiah" is just too special for anyone to do anything that might offend him, right? Has it occured to you yet that there is something seriously wrong with the whole election process this time? B.O. gets all the pleasant soft-ball questions, we can't do anything that might offend him, while Sarah Palin is trashed and hit with hardball questions (most of which B.O. couldn't have answered, either). Nobody takes the "Messiah" to task no matter who he knows or what he says (maybe you hadn't noticed?)

My country may have been stupid enough to elect him (with the all-out assistance of the media and ACORN) but he will never be MY president. He may occupy the White House, but he doesn't deserve it.

Go ahead and worship him if you want to. Go ahead and give hima chance to thoroughly wreck our country. I don't have a choice in the damage he does, but I will not support him or his sick and twisted agenda.

Hey, the current world concensus is that Bush was a lousy president. Deal with it.

People were sick of the Republican party's poor performance. Deal with it.

The statement at the top of your blog says "My facts are just that... FACTS" -- but you only like facts that support your view, and when they don't, you twist them around in a weird way so that they support your view anyway.

The FACT is that Bush disappointed your own country, not to mention the world. And through his actions he gave the Republicans a bad image. And that's why they lost this time. People were afraid they might get a second Bush.

You make the impression that you follow the news and mass media. Therefore you must have heard many times about Bush's poor approval ratings. Even people like us, on the other side of the world, heard this stuff.

Well, then EW, you must also have heard that Bush's ratings are higher than the Democrat congress, right? They have the lowest approval rating in history. Could that be because Nasty Pelosi, Harry Reid and the other criminals have not thrilled those who were dumb enough to vote for them?

And like good liberal morons, they continue to vote for the people who have lied to them, stolen from them and caused the financial crisis. This is exactly why we need term limits in congress!

I am now going to prove how wrong you are.

Mr. Obama has never claimed to be the Messiah”.

Ever. He explained that, in fact, his name is Kor-el; he was not born in a manger but rather on the planet Krypton, He was placed in a small rocket ship by his father, Jor-el, just as his planet was destroyed. He landed in Kansas and the rest of the story is well known. He did day that he had been sent here to save our world, which I admit seems a bit pushy.

I hope this clears up any confusion. Oh and he did have a brief affair with Lois Lane before Michelle.

Any questions?

I guess that Nation of Islam (Louis Farakhan) is the only one to call him the Messiah, then? Right, JIm. He gives people a thrill up their legs (Chris Matthews) and is literally worshipped by morons the world over.

He needs to go back to Krypton and stay there. My planet doesn't need him!

S.L. you are right on! I will never accept B.O. as my president either. MY part of the country did not vote for him or support him. I have a big problem with anyone who continually changes their position on the issues just to please whomever they are speaking to at the moment. The people who take him at face value are mindless fools and those will be the same people complaining when they are sharing more of their money to support welfare programs that enable lazy people. The govenrment should focus on supporting families and keeping them together as well as creating ways for more jobs for those who need them. I heard about the practice in Illinois of leaving live newborns of abortion to die in utility rooms long before B.O. began running for president, thanks to him that practice was legal. And for another matter, voting for or against the people currently running on the ballot based on the actions of someone else is bogus. Look at people for who they are, and not through some biased judgements.
