I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Israel on the March

January 3rd 2009 23:39
Well, the Israeli's finally got tired of being targets and started bombing Hamas. That was a week ago. Today they have entered the Gaza Strip. If Hamas had backed off, this wouldn't have happened. Of course, if Hamas meant what they said about just wanting a "Palestinian homeland" things would be peaceful today. But they only seem to want the death of Israel, not life for themselves. So the Israeli Army must be making them very happy.

Makes you wonder what will be happening 17 days from now, doesn't it? In spite of being wrong about everything concerning the War on Terror, B.O. (B.S.) has managed to see the Iraq part of the war successfully ended before he takes office. He should be a very happy camper, indeed. He doesn't have to fail in his campaign rhetoric, stand for anything, or commit treason! Not that those things would bother him, of course.

So far B.S. (B.O.) has managed to skate along with the response "We only have one president at a time," instead of running his face like he did during the primaries and general election speeches. Back then it was easy to pretend that he knew something... anything... but now the day is drawing near when he's going to have to actually do something but toss platitudes and insults. This could be the real historic "first" folks!

Let's see now... I wonder who he'll copy for his "position" on the Middle East? Jimmy (the Jew-hater) Carter? Or Bill (the Zipper) Clinton? Wasn't it Billary who suggested a Palestinian state back in the 90's? Personally, I expect B.O. to create his "policy masterpiece" by blending the two former president's ideas. He can join in the anti-Semitic antics, be pro-Palestinian, send his Secretary of State over to enforce his "peace plans" and then blame her when things go from bad to worse, like The Zipper blamed janet Reno for Waco and Ruby Ridge and Elian Gonzales. (O.K. Reno was Attorney General but those situations were domestic, too, remember). So B.S. can send his completely inexperienced Sec. of State off to "take care of things" and then blame her ignorance and inexperience when it blows up, right? Brilliantly Clintonesque, don't you think, folks? Let's see now, what was the name of the incoming Sec. of State? Hmmm?

Something is wrong with this picture. Only the British and other Empires find a "reason" why 1.5 million Gazans, or millions of more Palestinians and Arabs, need to be "smashed to the death." Sounds like state-sponsored terrorism.

there you go again...

now, you've bought it to the Israeli propagnda...

Try doing your homework just a bit more instead of going off the deep end....

Gaza is the world's biggest ghetto.....and yet you are blaming hamas.

Understand this: The Hamas folks are a bunch of thugs. But that is not justifying over 400 deaths, over 2000 injured...there is something wrong with this picture.

Howard, the state sponsored terrorism comes from Iran through Hamas and is being aimed at Israel.

Anonymous, get a clue, for crying out loud! Hamas had a chance to have their own state. They used the opportunity to lob missiles at Israel and drum up more terrorist wannabe's! They build nothing but weapons. They use their own people as shields, loading their weapons into hospitals, schools and family homes, inviting attacks and continuing to fire at Israel.

Before someone says something ridiculous like "proportional response", think about this for a minute. If we had responded "proportionally" to Pearl Harbor, we'd still be fighting World War 2! When attacked, the proper response is to wipe out the attacker, not just engage in a spitting match forever!
