The Real Threat to Civilians

Planck's Constant is well worth reading today (but then, it generally is!). After all the noise about civilian deaths in Iraq, and all the finger pointing at the military for being responsible, it's good to hear the truth. Not that it's been a big secret (except for the likes of John Kerry, of course and a few other traitorous creeps who like to blame America first), but there isn't much coverage in the mass media when it comes to reality.
It irritates me no end to hear anyone cite the number of civilian casualties in Iraq and blame the USA and her allies for them as though it were an established fact. Isn't it funny how they manage to forget all the suicide/homicide bombings that take an almost exclusively civilian toll? Once in awhile a few civilians are caught in a crossfire or targeted by accident, true. It's a war, folks. People die in wars. That being said, the vast majority of civilians killed and injured in Iraq are the victims of their fellow Muslims. Nobody else straps on bombs and detonates themselves in crowds of Muslim people. Nobody else loads vehicles with explosives and rams them into civilian targets. It's as simple as that, folks. The Christians aren't targeting innocent Muslims. The Jews aren't doing it. Bhuddists aren't. Athiests, Agnostics and Pagans aren't blowing up Iraqi Muslims. Other Muslims are blowing them up!
Another thing in Plank's Constant today concerns religion. Nobody is trying to convert the Iraqi Muslims to any other religion. (In spite of Ann Coulter's suggestion that we should!) We don't target their mosques, either. Other Muslims do that!
