I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Principles for Sale

December 19th 2009 15:20
In typical Democrat (liberal) form, Ben Nelson (D-Nebraska) has shown how serious he was about standing up for his "principles". Like Mary Landrieau (D-Louisiana), when enough money was dangled in front of him, he abandoned everything he had been pretending to stand for. Clever move on his part, wasn't it, folks? Like Landrieau, he was just holding out for a bigger reward. The supposed threat of closing an important Nebraska base made him actually appear to be a strong (yet sympathetic) character. It cleared the way for him to jump on the B.O. (B.S.) bandwagon and still look slightly less than the sell-out he really is. Can't help but wonder how big the bribe was... $300 million was Landrieau's price...)

His supposed "principles" have been forgotten now. He just make a speech about understanding how others could be in favor of paying for abortions, while being pro-life, himself. Obviously, he's either incredibly stupid, incredibly naive, or a basic dishonest liberal. He can make believe that the government won't be paying for the abortions they proudly sponsor, but it won't make it true. Maybe he hasn't heard of Planned Parenthood? Maybe he hasn't heard of the UN, either. We wind up paying for the murders of millions of babies all over the world. So he actually believes that the bureaucratic machine that allows all those baby killings will suddenly fail to add a little side-bar to the new Healthcare Fraud that forces us to pay for even more abortions? No one could possibly be that stupid!

Of course, he had to add that he wasn't promising to vote for it in the end, but that means as much as his word does for anything else. Zip. Zero. Zilch.

They all can be bribed. It's pathetic. One of the Republicans today said that he wanted to congratulate Ben Nelson for his appearance on The Price Is Right. Truer words have not been spoken.

That's a fact, PopCon! Bob Barker couldn't have made a better deal. If we had term limits, this couldn't happen, but these bozos really believe they have job security and can get away with anything. And we keep proving them right with every election.

Looks like everything has it's price in Washington D.C. even integrity, honest, and patriotism, shameful bunch of self serving losers.

Let's hope and pray they become unemployed losers next Nov. Lester!

I hear they want to shove their latest disaster through before Christmas so their constituents won't have a chance to talk them out of it. That figures, doesn't it?
