"Clean 'em Up, Move 'em On..."

In the usual sterling fashion, the Democrats have come up with new and novel ways to hide the homeless populaiton in Denver before their convention. They first planned to buy either bust tickets to get the homeless out of town or movie tickets to put them into a semblance of hiding during their convention. They make endless noise about the "poor" and the "homeless" as people we tend to ignore and they want to "help" with tax dollars from everyone else.
Now a beauty salon has agreed to provide haircuts for the homeless before the convention so that they won't be so scruffy. Yep, good plan. Clean 'em up for a few days and then go back to ignoring them as usual. That's the good liberal solution to the homeless problem, all right!
Many of the "homeless" choose to be that way. They don't like paying taxes and don't want the Big Daddy government telling them how to live. Some are drug or alcohol addicted and have found they can't manage in a world that expects us to produce something in order to survive. Thye make their money from prostitution or dealing drugs. Yep, a haircut, a bus ticket or a pass for a movie is really gonna fix hat problem! Bandaids on a compound fracture. Typical liberal cure....
Personally, I believe in helping those who really want to be helped. If education is what's needed to inspire a homeless person to get off the streets and start making a real life, we need more programs for it. Long term, folks, not just to cover up during a convention. The churches and private sector could do more for the homeless than a few token "treats" from the liberals ever will.
The homeless "problem" in America isn't nearly as large as it's being presented by the Democrats. They want to take more of our tax dollars for brilliant "cures" like bumpers on shopping carts. Enable the lazy and disinterested at all costs. Never give them the tools to change their lives and better themselves. That's the Democrat/liberal mentality.
Help them to get off the streets and build futures for themselves. Teach them to provide for themselves. Do not reward laziness and bad habits. That's the conservative way.
Adding to the welfare rolls and expecting their votes because you keep them on the streets is the typical dem/lib way. It hasn't worked so far. Why do they keep trying it?
