I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

I tried to leave a comment for Mike but this wasn't possible again. I don't understand why this happens, but it's very annoying. So I'll just post it here and you can go to "outsider" to see what prompted it. Really Long Link

Repeating yourself, Mike? It doesn't make your point any better, you know.

As to Algore, yes, he opened the debate on something so ridiculous that he had to fake everything he used in his "scientific research." And the Nobel committee allowed him to lobby them. Hollywierd gave him an Academy Award because they wanted a "cause" to get behind. They didn't want something real, like terrorism, just something to make them look good for supporting. If you still think the Nobel Committee has any credibility, please feel free to check out the last fifty or so winners of their Peace Prize. Gore and his crowd said we were causing "glo-bull cooling" back in the 70's and when it didn't happen, they waited. If Algore had believed one scintilla of his own crap, why did he do nothing during his EIGHT YEARS as Vice President? He never mentioned it once. Then he lost the election and suddenly became an "environmental-case". This time it was glo-bull warming. He won an Academy Award and a Nobel Peace Prize by blaming mankind for it. Then, when it was proven that the earth had stopped "warming" years before, he switched it to "Climate Change" still human caused. Then, when that started to falter just a little, he started jet-setting all over the world to talk the rest of us into cutting back and returning to the stone age (while he has private jets and an electric bill that would cover a small town). He opened the first "carbon credits" company was was his own first customer. He paid himself millions in "carbon credits."

Reputable scientists from all over the world are dropping him like the proverbial hot potato, Mike. The founder of the Weather Channel says Gore is a lunatic and a fraud. It has become politically correct to keep the myth going, but there is far too much proof to the contrary. Don't you pay attention to anything real?

There are still a few crazies out there, Randy. Apparently, Mike is one of them.

S.L.,

You're not the only one who has periodic technical issues...although I have a sense of humor, understand what happened before you go on another attack binge!!

This is what I said "specifically" in answer to one of your comments when you went off on a tirade about the Nobel and Pulitzer commitees being "liberal"..whatever that means::

If you have specific verifable proof to prove your claim beyond giving AL Gore a prize, , by all means bring it and I will be happy to consider it. Whetheryou like it or not, the man did raise the debate on global warming.....

ou want to be obssessed with Al Gore..that's fine...but please understand what has been written before launching into one of your tirades.

As for me being Crazy, that's fine..I just addressed your comments point-by-point..you resorted again with slogans and personal attacks.

One quick comment on Global warming: I do check out junkscience periodically. As I have written to you before, the man who is behind it is primarily sponsored by ExxonMobil. I for one view our addiction to fossil fuels as the greatest threat to our earth. We have to think different. You all seem to want to be stuck in the past. That's fine too...but don't force the rest of us to buy into the fantasy unless it can be proven with 100% certainity.

"You all" hell. I am not stuck on Fossil Fuels I just think Gore is a con man getting rich off of people who are trying to help the planet.

Hi Randy,

Good enough....My only point is simple: Let's think different and figure out a way to break this addiction. Don't late Al Gore stop you and others from thinking along those lines. I hope at least we agree on that point!!!

Mike, little Al Gore is an insipid, womanizing jerk ~ If I were standing in bright sunshine burning my astro turf off and Al said, "Hey, I think the sun is shining," I'd have to re-examine the evidence, but only because he brought it up.

However, the point you made about breaking our collective addiction to fossil fuels is well made.

I am a outdoorsman and what got me interested in the Green side of things is seeing all the litter thrown in rivers or left on the bank to be washed into the water when it rises.

I am not a tree hugger by any means but I really want my kids and grand kids to be able to enjoy the outdoors the way I have.

On the gas issue we need new energy. But raising the gas prices and destroying our economy isn't the way to do it. I for one wil lose my job if the gas prices go way up again.

Environmentalist should focus on things that can be control like cleaning up trash, illegal dumping straight pipes ran into rivers, and creeks. Al Gores worries about things that's out of their control. If we start with the basics then maybe we would gain the knowledge to handle the bigger things.

But destroying our economy to fix something that is at best probable, if not fictional is plain stupid.(Global Warming) Al Gore is a raving maniac that posses a threat to our lively hoods, and nation security. I say commit the man to mental institution and throw away the key.

Taking care of the environment is important, Lester and Randy. Cleaning up litter and keeping the air and water clean are good things to do. Terrorizing people about "killing the planet" is ridiculous. Charging for "carbon credits" is stupid. And listening to Algore is a waste of time.
