I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Cancellation Due to Snow

February 15th 2007 11:54
Al Gore must be hiding under his bed lately. His "global warming" rhetoric is really wearing thin in the mid-west. In fact he was scheduled to speak at a "global warming" performance, but it was cancelled due to snow. The massive weather fronts that have dumped repeatedly on the mid-west and now the east coast, have made his scare tactics look a little more foolish than usual. It's not the first time it's happened, of course. A "global warming" conference in Florida was cancelled some years ago due to snow. Let's see now, as I recall, back in the 70's when "global cooling" was the political boogeyman, I lived in California and we had a frightful drought. The summer was brutal and the winter was almost dry. I could be wrong, but that seems to be about the last time "global cooling" made headlines. Is it possible that "global warming" will fade away, too, with the severe winter we're having this year? We can only hope.
Note to Al: If you want to talk about "global warming" without getting too many laughs, maybe you should wait til summer when you'll have a touch more credibility. Unless of course... it snows in August!

Why has he not questioned why our weather forecasters can't get a 5 day prediction right, let alone a 100 year forecast? Much greater minds than mine have refuted Gore's dire predictions, but I guess he knows better than all of us. After all, he did invent the Internet, didn't he?

LMAO I'd forgotten about that. Such a genius he is. A veritable legend in his own mind!
