Another Good Reason to Homeschool

November 15th 2007 16:43
Apparently, to the PC crowd, sexual preditors come in even the youngest ages. But only boys, mind you! I was talking to a homeschooling friend of mine this morning. She explained why she took her son out of the Indoctrination Center and started teaching him on her own. When her son was in 1st grade, she happened to be at the "school" one day and saw a herd of little 1st grade girls chasing her boy. She commented to the teacher that he wasn't crazy about the situation and asked if there was something that could be done. The teacher told her that it was acceptable for little girls to chase little boys, but if he ever turned around and kissed one of them, he would be known as a sex offender for the rest of his life. The unfairness enraged her! She started thinking about homeschooling her son that day!

A few weeks later, her older son came home with disturbing news from his Jr. High. No hugging, kissing or hand holding would be allowed between the "straight" kids while same-sex couples were to be permitted to do whatever they wished (as long as they kept their clothes on). Teachers and principals were ordered to allow gay couples to engage in almost any behavior while "straight" kids could be expelled for doing the same things.

That was the last straw for her. She removed both her sons from the Liberal Indoctrination Centers and began trying to teach them at home. Like so many other parents, she was horrified at what her boys didn't know. They were well versed on the gay/lesbian lifestyle, celebrating Muslims, birth control and Glo-bull Warming. On the other hand, they knew nothing of history (except that Europeans were bad and ruined the country, Thanksgiving was an evil holiday and the Founding Fathers were athiests), geography (except the kind that shows pictures and asks how the kids "feel" about different places that they couldn't find on a map!) They were poor spellers and didn't understand even basic math. Their report cards had always looked really good!

Her sons are doing well now and learning things they should have learned before. She's glad she got them out of the mess before the damage was permanent.

I watched the news last night and an 11 year old boy was expelled for french kissing a little girl. His parents were informed that he would have a red flag on his folder as a "childhood sex offender"

What is wrong with people? he is 11 years old!!! kissing happens...

My son is 10 and I am going to be homeschooling from now on. My husband and I are taking him out of school tomorrow as the Thanksgiving break will commence... it will be an easy transition. I am sick of the way these public schools are behaving.

Thanks for helping us make this decision... we have been reading lots of outraged parents and their reasons for homeschooling. the public education system is more of a joke than anything else.

And a dirty joke it is, too!

These are only a few of the reasons that more parents are homeschooling their kids. I agree with it whole heartedly.

What a stupid post....liberal indoctrination centers? And the b.s. about the sexual predator thing, c'mon....also, the things you claim they had learned....what folly, what idiocy. I suppose now they are learning such universal "truths" as the earth is only 6,000 years old, Noah's ark was a real boat, America is god's gift to a damned liberal world, and George Bush is a leader. What the tripe you are saying shows is that, while there are some parents who can successfully homeschool, the dangers from producing a generation not expected to think beyond what their brain-dead taskmaskers tell them is enough to demand that homeschooling be made illegal in America.

"Brain dead taskmasters" Jeff? No, that's why the parents take their kids out of those places and school them at home. Your inability to read and understand is evidence that the education system leaves much to be desired. Passing grades in public "schools" just means that a kid has shown up, breathing. Not that they have learned anything.

How about the "third year Freshmen?" And the kids who have high school diplomas but can't read a street sign? How about those who learned so much about sex in school (and got the free condoms) they spend their lives on welfare, making more babies? They can spout liberal rhetoric, but don't know who George Washington was!

Like I said before, you're a great example of the liberal schools and what finally emerges from the indoctrination process...

Are you angling for a spot in the next book, Jeff? Might want to see how brilliant you sound in the first one before placing both feet into your mouth again... lol

(yawn)..can't argue, debate or otherwise discuss with these types, Musall.

Note the lack of references in this article. I take it we are supposed to accept your statements as gospel?

Can't log on here, but I am and remain,

So, what sort of proof do you require, D.? The name of the mother in question? If you really want to know, try contacting the Dep't of Education and ask to see a copy of their sexual harrassment guidelines. Or, just continue to assume that Jeff is right about everything, and enjoy the display of ignorance that he and his little friends provide.
