Ann, the day After
November 6th 2008 13:45
Ann Coulter has a great column today. She explains clearly why McCain lost, and she's absolutely right. Constant compromise of principles never accomplishes anything but allowing your opponents to win.
If you doubt me on this, folks, here's something to think about... Ronald Reagan never "crossed the aisle" and compromised his beliefs. He did quite well, as I recall! If you think that was too long ago to matter, try this one, Bobby Jindal became the governor of Louisiana on a clear conservative platform.
The future of politics in America has changed and if we want to rescue it before it's too late and the liberals have destroyed us, we should start planning for a winning ticket in 2012. I suggest Sarah Palin and Bobby Jindal (position on the ticket doesn't matter). They'll each have four more years as governors and no one will be able to complain about their experience.
The end of Ann's column is worth reading twice! LOL

With the way George Bush has been treated these last eight years the dems/liberals are now saying lets get a lone and heal our nation. I don't think there is a lot of people out there that really want to sit around a campfire and sign kum ba ya with liberals.
I am going to try to hold my criticism, and give B.O. a chance to screw up, as I know he will. I think you will see just what we are in for when he starts announcing his cabinet.

She's one of the reasons McCain did not get elected, so what chance does she stand on her own?
To be fully honest, although I am an Obama supporter, McCain made a decent impression on me -- one of calm goodwill and wisdom based on experience. (See? I am open-minded and fully open to alternative views as long as I don't sniff out any blatant stupidity.)
On the other hand, his freaky Alaskan sidekick scared the hell out of many, many people, not only those in America. She had no worldly experience and had a small town mentality that she was too dumb to conceal ("Alaska this... Alaska that...").
In all honesty, can you really imagine someone like that (with no foreign policy experience!) actually being the president of the USA and having meaningful conversations with important world leaders? I mean, SERIOUSLY...
(As I said before, McCain is not in the same category as her. Even I, as an Obama supporter, would put him far ahead of her.)
She also made the impression of being one of those freaky religious fanatics (who also scare the hell out of many, many people).
Freaky Sarah from Alaska...
Geez, it seems I am becoming an avid reader of your blog -- even though I disagree with 95% of what you say. Maybe that's the whole fun...

Sarah's religion bothers you and B.O.'s doesn't? I wonder if her pastor screams "God damn America!" from the pulpit? Does it disturb you that she has five kids? Ot that she didn't kill the youngest? B.O. would have killed that innocent little boy in a heart beat. (pun intended)
And as for her lack of international experience, she has more than B.O. Governors have to deal with foreign governments and B.O. might have if he hadn't started running for president after 143 days in "office."
So he picks Joe Biden as his running mate. A man with vast experience (?) who has yet to be right for the first time on international politics. B.O. is convinced that merely being elected will give him everything he needs to schmooze all the terrorists into playing nice. If that isn't the limit of innocence and arrogance, what would you call it?
Yes, Lester, Biden scares me, too. His mouth will be a serious factor in any upcoming problems.

Real Crash
The key issue now is, are we going to even have a financial system, at least on an international level? Or will we go back to barter, and back to the trees? Lyndon the Geezer is working on it.
