And God Won't Be There...
August 26th 2011 01:02
Mayor Bloomberg has decided against allowing the heroes of 9/11 to attend the tenth anniversary commemoration. Now he has also (very explicitly) not invited God, or anyone representing Him, to attend. That's right, folks. No religious service will be allowed to mark the 10th anniversary of 3000 deaths. He likes the idea of the new mosque being built near Ground Zero, though. I guess that's because there were also Muslims killed... it is politically correct to mention that the dead Muslims were FLYING THE PLANES?
How much would you like to bet that if an Imam decided he was being slighted by not being allowed to attend the services (and sit in a place of honor, of course), he could make a big enough stink to get his way? Of course he would.
Since the heroes aren't welcome and God isn't welcome... who will be allowed to attend? Family members? Of course, but all of them? Would all of them even want to go to such a self-serving political event on the grave of their loved ones? I wouldn't. How about politicians? I can see President Bush and Mayor Giuliani, of course... oh wait... weren't they pretty much heroes, too? Giuliani is still called "America's Mayor" and President Bush will always be remembered for his words as he stood on the wreckage with a bull horn, "I hear you. The rest of the world hears you. And pretty soon, the people who did this will hear from all of us!" Wasn't Pataki the governor of New York on September 11, 2001? What other political figures should we expect to see?
How about B.O. (B.S.)? You know, the guy who proudly wrote in his autobiography that he'd stand with the Muslims? Maybe Hillary who was for the war before she was against it? Or her hubby who was "busy" with Monica instead of accepting custody of bin Laden when he had a chance? Or John Kerry who is steadfastly on both sides of every issue (at the same time)? I'm sure the various dignitaries who have bashed President Bush so enthusiastically will find time to show up if not shut up.
What kind of person could turn this solemn and touching anniversary into a political, God-less spectacle?

Round Politics
I tell you S.L. the Godless are only 14% make of this country, why aren't the 86% of us doing something about it.
One of High Schools aren't allowed to pray before football games anymore because of one family. I wish the other would boycott the home games.
WHAT'S THE WORLD COMING TOO!!!
