Star Parker and Definitions

Star Parker poses an interesting question in her column today. A question that's worth consideration. The three men she mentions are excellent examples of what has always been right about America, and what we need more of in the days ahead.
People like Cathy, Simon and Walton achieved great success and prosperity for themselves, their families and their country without having government up their noses at every turn. Their ideas were what brought about their successes, not government grants, Affirmative Action, "spreading the wealth", or a new bureaucracy designed to "help" them.
In return for their personal prosperity, these men employed people, provided benefits of all sorts to their communities, and proved beyond any doubt that "trickle down economics" works. They also proved that the American Dream was alive and well. No, not the "dream" that some would have you believe in. Not the shared wealth trash that B.O. favors. That was never any part of the American dream. It is, however rapidly turning into a nightmare...
